QUOTE(amd_hardcore @ Dec 16 2007, 10:08 PM) psu's position. Added on December 16, 2007, 10:21 pm QUOTE(boyz @ Dec 15 2007, 04:06 PM) Here's my new baby..PSU is a very important issue when it comes to buying a CM690. dude, why don't you change the cpu heatsink position towards the rear?[attachmentid=360363][attachmentid=360365] [attachmentid=360366] the fan sucks all the hot air from your gc and make your processor hotter. QUOTE(jinaun @ Jan 11 2008, 07:01 PM) i got some issues with 690.. i got no problem with my previous psu st50f.since the psu is at the bottom.. and the atx 8pin 12v is at the top.. i have to route the cable over the vga card.. which is ugly... and i check some replacement psu (eg zeus750).. and max is 55cm.. i dun think its long enough. btw i'm using coolermaster psu but now using the same method as yours for my gigabyte odin GT. |

my gigabyte psu reach 380w when playing cod4.
vcore: 1.52v Gvcore: 1.54v stock at 1.33v if i put in another 3870 with vmolt then i guess the figure will nearly reach 550w. two panaflos are coming to replace the stupid stock cm fans. |

QUOTE(AoiNatsume @ Jan 23 2008, 01:22 AM) here ya go your cpu cooler is sucking hot air from your gc.a little change in hardware, and no more watercooling for now Btw, do trust me...cable management 4 HDD aint easy to handle » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the airflow there is really bad with so little gap between the fan and the gc pcb. cannot change it to face to the rear? |
