Hello, I am new here and driven my one month old myvi 1.5 se manual so far. I am encountering some problem and would like to know if anyone could help me out. The fuel consumption for the past 1 month was around averagely 16.8 km / l or rm 40 I could go around 310km - 340km depending on my foot.One of the problem is during gear shift from 2nd to 3th gear, there is a "click" sound after 10 minutes of driving and thereafter and no such sound for other gear shift. The other problem that worries me is the EPS system. I dun know how it actually function. During high speed, yes it should be tighter, but when I slow down, the steering is still tight. Sometimes upon driving around 20km per hour the steering will be lose but sometimes not, how does the eps actually function towards different speed? Solution from dear sifu here is very much appreciated T_T

i thought the foaming is a way to insulate the noise?   

btw, changing to 15' rims, adding front struct bar + anti roll bar, large pot brake kit and changing suspensions, will it be increasing the handling a lot? i dont really like the handling now. for instance, body roll is kinda obvious even in low speed.

power is not really my concern though as manual is serving me good, losing a bit is ok as i dont use MyVi to be like a RACE CAR as those youngsters did on highway.

After i change to wider tires, my top speed drop 190kmh to around 180kmh(same distance accelerate, but think it have a bit more go, but dare not try cuz acceleration was getting really slow n need longer straight)... Not only the width is important, whats important is also the tire's rolling resistant... Higher rolling resistant tires surely will sap more power from our tiny engine...

To those with Myvi LB manuals regardless of 1.3 or 1.5, what are your cruising speeds at 110km/h on fifth gear?

may i know the sports rim size plus the tyre size , i might get myvi extreme edition next month

is the ride of the 1.5 se is really bad?...the suspension is bad for comfort driving is it?..how is it compare to the 1.3?..i hate hard suspension..feel like the brain also vibrate when hitting potholes..

Even when im on the highway, i even let all the lorries etc passed me n i need to avoid being on the left most lane because need to let the pass without loosing much momentum, n after the lorries etc passed me, i go back to the left most lane.. like evry 3-4 sec look at my rear view.. Takot kacau other motorists... N damn sleepy for me to drive that slow.. But, well, for the sake of experimenting...    I wonder if with KnN air filter n irridium plug maybe can get even better FC reading...?? N also with low resistant tires n not my potenzas...???

I think I saw Myvi SE 1.5 is fitted with 2 different tyres. One with Continental CC5,  the other is Goodyear NCT5.

Any difference in driving experience?
