cool!!!! thumbup.gif

the lock model for my car is actually for the old myvi..but it can fit new myvi without any problem..and although it can cut the engine ignition, some pro thief maybe can bypass this thing also..at least, they need more time to break the lock, and make it startable back..and since it is at the pedal area, not easy to work there..it is basically a confined space..

how about manual pedal lock? It should be good too right? Is Myvi also a hottie car like my sgti??

Added on January 28, 2012, 8:49 pm
well, from my sgti experience, the thicker anti roll bar is definitely good for superb handling, more stability and this i can shared with you all:)
*
i dont know whether the manual have different lock..but from what i know, the lock that i installed can fit both auto and manual..last time got one myvi owner after few days only got car, already got stolen..and open thread at F&F..so for me, myvi also a hot car..since a lot of people using it..means a lot of people looking for spare parts..sgti is hot since a lot of people want it and proton no more producing it..

ok, so what normally a newbie like me do once get the new Myvi, hop straight to the accessories shop to upgrade the security system or change the ignition key lock or cut-off fuel line? Mind to share? thks
*
dont do too extreme like involving cutting wires..the warranty will void..and no need to change ignition key lock and cut off fuel line..since our myvi already has the immobiliser system..it is a waste if u kacau the system..just a little bit extra safety is enough like the pedal lock..

ok, i'm exactly a newbie here right blush.gif

ok, how about changing the radio front panel by changing the oem HU to an aftermarket 1din HU? Will that also voiding the warranty too?

If yes, then can we upgrade the speakers & install amp plus a subwoofer? Will this have any effect on the warranty as well?? sweat.gif
*
i think changing the hu wont void the warranty..since there is no wire cutting..everything is just plug and play..i dont know much since i never done that..and also, when removing anything, just make sure the warranty sticker at the item doesnt tear off..

*
i went to sri gombak..got one old accessory shop..end corner..behind the shop got tyre shop..near a roundabout..forgot already the shop name..yes, we will hold the additional key for the lock..this thing has nothing to do with the alarm..this thing just disconnect the ignition when it is locked..

Good morning Myvians,

Early morning i drove to office, from DUKE to JALAN DUTA, with the maintain speed of 80-100km/h, i noticed the AVG clocked the max 20.5km/l, then when speed getting lower in city the AVG back to 12km/l...

that means low number number of kilometers per liter burn excess fuel ?
is that because city we play brakes alot where at highway we shoot straight ?
that means RM50 for city driving and RM50 for Highway driving, highway gives more mileage ?
i thought when drive fast burning more petrol than driving slow, all this while i had wrong perception...

is this applicable for MANUAL and AUTO ?

MT we play gears and control speed so can save fuel ?
AT we play brakes alot, and gears shifting automatically and significantly high fuel ?

so how the AUTO/MANUAL fuel consumption can be explained clearly ?
*
because it calculate the average fuel fc..it calculate the highway avg 1st, then when u reach the city, it calculate both highway and city to get the average..thats why let say u reset the avg 1st, then enter the highway and maintain 80-100kmh for 3hours drive..then when u reach the city, the avg will be hardly drop because u already got a good fc during that long highway drive on the highway..in city we consume more fuel because we always accelerate many times..yes, rm50 of highway driving can go a lot further than city drive..

Haaaa...?? U just flex the accelerator n can wheel spin..?? U on what tire bro..?? Clean road surface...?? Auto manual?
*
mine is stock conti tyre..auto..i was driving at maybe about 40kmh, then i full throttle then can hear the front wheel like spinning..yup maybe the road surface is dusty also..but i think it is harder to do a wheel spin when the car is already moving..gonna try again later..and the power when full throttle is also addicting.. brows.gif

hye guys,

asking this not my myvi but other car,why my car need to jump start everyday?I even start already then go drive around but next day still cant start the car.
May I know whats are the problems that might cause this?Battery?Change not long time ago...
thanks
*
1) your car battery is bad, or
2) your car's alternator is bad, producing insufficient voltage so it doesnt charge your battery properly even after a long drive..check the alternator's voltage..it should be higher than the battery's voltage..

anyone here already change the battery to the dry type?..how much if change at sc?..since alza got this problem, our myvi is also possible..and i read at alza thread, due to this leakage, the acid will drip onto the gearbox, and give a bigger problem..
