Yup, today morning, system update now is 4.0.3 (release5a) the latest, right?

I have this experience yesterday (before update), and right after once I try the Reset pin is quite help (means right after Reset no serious delay, but I only manage to try few times), after that the 'red frame' problem start.

Today after system update, I have not try the 'Reset' pin yet! I dare not try the 'Reset'. But I have done the factory reset!

Ya. I just walk in to the reseller, finally they agree to exchange within 7 days. Problem is they told me no have stock among their branches!

I guess I should fight for it right? They should source for me, right?

or could it be they r having a 2nd thought of not giving the original tablet s JB update? they really shud reconsider bout that. or else they will face wrath of the sony fan/consumers.  

It's true those tablets were developed by vaio team but it's still operate under sony brand. Furthermore, that department hasnt been abandoned right? I think it's still sony's responsibility to provide a better customer user experience by giving a timely updates. No doubt sony tablet is a beauty in design but the marketing tactic is much more powerful than what it really is.

can i know you find it problematic? I'm thinking of getting one for x'mas, but if really no good then might have to break the bank-get tablet Z instead
