Ninja previously mentioned that both these tablet was under sony separate division most probably the vaio division. Myb that is why they dont really committed to these tablets. Hopefully things will be much better for xperia tablet z which is under sony mobile own division. I will no doubt buy the xperia tablet z with hope it wont hav any weird stupid bug.

Regarding xperia tablet s, i really love it for its slim design, my tablet s is kinda bulky. If in the near tym sony released the jb update and also solve all those uatoshutdown/restart bugs, i will consider to trade it in for the xpreria tablet s.

I was thinking to change my tablet s to xperia tablet s, but iinm jb update will only b rolling end of april. Since the latest news regarding tablet z will be delay to end of may released in uk, i assumed it will only reach here somewhere around july. I dunno shud i just buy xperia tablet s or better wait for tablet z. I also assumed that the price of tablet z will be bout 1899 for 16gb version. It is kinda pricey. I hope it will price at 1500. There are a few things im not really satisfied with tablet z spec. I hope sony will at least change the processor to snapdragon 600 and clock higher mayb at 1.8ghz. Or even better use the snapdragon 800. But it is almost impossible for sony to do that as it will be unfair to the japanes. Also i wonder will the display has a viewing angle problem like the xperia z. It would be sux if that was the case as both tablet s and xperia tablet s have an excellent viewing angle and a excellent contrast. On xperia z i wont complain much but on a tablet i want an excellent display overall. I guess sony kinda make mistakes by announcing this tablet to early with a bit outdated spec. What is ur opinion guys?

thanks for the advice guys, im kinda lost with my mind actually.. my tablet s browsing experience really disappointing. i just wan a better smooth and fast experience. browsing in long hours never really ideal with my phone xperia z. need bigger screen. with laptop i cant baring2 and guling2 while using. i knew there r lots of option for better tablet however i love to keep my sony eco system together. also i love the design. i like asus too but i prefer sony more. ipad not really suit me, nexus tablets lag of expansion memory a deal breaker for me, samsung, not interested. gues i have to be more patient waiting for the tablet z, hope it wont be too expensive when it is out tho because at that time, the spec altho still strong but a bit outdated. really hope sony will somehow change their mind and upgrade the proc to at least use snapdragon 600.

i just hope that xperia tablet z is almost problem free, a great viewing angle and good/superb contrast and deep black for the display. also hope the speaker wil be good enough. i can except low veiwing angle on my xperia z but not on the tablet, viewing angle is very important at 10.1 size. finally hope the price wont be to high for the lte version. if 32gb+LTe about rm1999.00, i will sell my iphone 5 for it

btw speaking bout lte version, need some opinion, is it worth to get a tablet with 3g/lte or wifi is good enough already?

want to ask xperia tablet s owner here about the touchscreen sensitivity. honestly my sony tablet s, the sony first gen tablet, the sensitivity is too sensitive, very2 sensitive, u can easily accidently click any link or anything on the screen. it was very annoying to the max. so does the xperia tablet s still has this issue? I asked this coz if sony didnt fix this problem,the new tablet z could also has this problem.
and also did xperia tablet s has a flikering screen when on ics or on jellybean?

few problems that existed on tablet s n still exist on the newer xperia tablet s are
1)wifi issue,
2)auto restart

xperia tablet s, is one of the most interesting n sexy tablet design for me, kinda regret I bought Sony tablet s before it. nevertheless, right now my latest xperia z is the best, with the best looking tablet n arguably the best android 10.1 tablet exclude new nexus 7. it even shared similar specs as the new nexus 7.

Both tablet s n xperia tablets were developed by a separate department than sony mobile, iinm they were under vaio department. That is why these two tablets wont get any more support after xperia tablet z released.
