QUOTE(maximR @ Oct 9 2012, 07:09 PM) Not wanting to be an annoying senior who likes to nag or anything , but here's a reminder to all of you : Annoying? Not at all my dear senior! I noticed that today , many of the PMR candidates complained that the Paper 2 question for KOMSAS wasn't what they expected , they read form one and three novels but form 2 one came out , it wasn't as expected , etc but this shouldn't come from you guys . Especially since you're the first batch of students with the new literature components . It's foolish to think that only the ones that are spotted will come out . During my time , last year , the Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia confirmed that only form 3 novels will be questioned because we were the last batch of the old literature components ( with boring novels , to be honest ) . But I felt it was too good to be true and prepared for all three instead . When the exams came , only form 3 novels came out all right , but I felt that I was ready for all three and there was a feeling of assurance . Moral of the story : Be ready for anything and everything , don't focus on topics . Not at this stage . You can look through the tips , that's fine but please don't go overboard by treating them as your official study materials for your PMR . I'm saying this not to make you guys feel bad but to warn you and wake you up , since you will be in form four next year . Don't let this be a habit . You know what to do next year . That being said, I'm not that sure about the current format of English but back in our days we could focus on only one novel . If that's the case for you , then fine . If it isn't , then I'd suggest reading the synopsis of all of the novels you've studied to refresh your memory . Good luck guys for tomorrow's paper . The only people who we form three's find annoying are those who claim that PMR is just like any other exam. But did they get straight A's? I'm not so sure Anyways,I completely agree with you that we should prepare equally for each KOMSAS novel. Personally,I found this years question quite easy. Only the foolish study solely based on the leaked and spotted questions. And the English Novel we read is based on the state we're from. Personally,I'm from Penang, thus I study a novel entitled The Railway Children by Edith Nesbit. Tho thanks for your useful piece of advice. |

Don't be too confident. Can't be sure for sure. But its most probably an A.
Though take into account that this years Geography was easy and as you can see, many of the forumers scored 55+. So they MIGHT(tho a slim chance) actually increase the minimum point score to get an A. But still,I have a hunch that the graph won't be raised |
