Not wanting to be an annoying senior who likes to nag or anything , but here's a reminder to all of you :
I noticed that today , many of the PMR candidates complained that the Paper 2 question for KOMSAS wasn't what they expected , they read form one and three novels but form 2 one came out , it wasn't as expected , etc but this shouldn't come from you guys . Especially since you're the first batch of students with the new literature components . It's foolish to think that only the ones that are spotted will come out . During my time , last year , the Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia confirmed that only form 3 novels will be questioned because we were the last batch of the old literature components ( with boring novels , to be honest ) . But I felt it was too good to be true and prepared for all three instead . When the exams came , only form 3 novels came out all right , but I felt that I was ready for all three and there was a feeling of assurance .
Moral of the story : Be ready for anything and everything , don't focus on topics . Not at this stage . You can look through the tips , that's fine but please don't go overboard by treating them as your official study materials for your PMR . I'm saying this not to make you guys feel bad but to warn you and wake you up , since you will be in form four next year . Don't let this be a habit . You know what to do next year .
That being said, I'm not that sure about the current format of English but back in our days we could focus on only one novel . If that's the case for you , then fine . If it isn't , then I'd suggest reading the synopsis of all of the novels you've studied to refresh your memory .
Good luck guys for tomorrow's paper .
