QUOTE(maximR @ Aug 15 2012, 03:21 PM) I did a lot - I mean a lot of paper 1 exercises to improve my tatabahasa . I bought a SASBADI PMR Tatabahasa book and read it many times to remember all the rules . Hard work pays off . You'll know when you actually master the tatabahasa when you can easily spot mistakes in BM newspaper articles or speeches given by our politicians which are littered with tatabahasa errors . OMG Start spamming trial papers , especially for paper 1 . This post has been edited by Sridev Pro Designer: Aug 15 2012, 08:09 PM |

QUOTE(maximR @ Aug 15 2012, 08:41 PM) It's never too late to learn new things , especially if you have the determination . Start now , people have uploaded trial papers of several states with mark schemes . That really encouraged me. thanks man. you da best I started around January . To the other poster : For pemilihan kata tepat , read a lot . That's all I can say . You'll never know which words are going to come out . I was lucky [ 2011 ] because all of the words , question 1-7 are the ones that I understood . Make full use of a dictionary , especially Kamus Pelajar . It helps . |

I'm guessing you're a... ehem Would've been nice to have 4As even though all I did was some light reading. Well 3As are okay,I'm not one to hold onto unachievable dreams or one to exert extra effort on something that doesn't show instant results(what a bad trait). Added on August 17, 2012, 5:30 pmSo what are you guys expecting for your PMR trials? I already got 4 papers, I got A for my Science,Geo and History,B for KH and I expect getting a B or A for my Maths and English and D or C for my Malay and Islamic Studies. I wish I didn't have to take the Islamic Studies paper, being born in a religious family is a pain This post has been edited by Sridev Pro Designer: Aug 18 2012, 10:14 AM |

QUOTE(maximR @ Aug 18 2012, 12:12 PM) The paper , for me was harder than the previous years . For papers of 2005-2010, all of the papers were easy since the questions were repeated . Every single time ! I've heard stuff too. People who got 48/60 scored B. But for 2011 there were a couple of questions that required thinking , hence I got 58/60 for the paper . Most of my friends said it was easy though . One of them , who had 78 , scored a B . My verdict : For objective papers , i.e GEO , SEJ , KHB , aim for perfection and you won't regret . Can't really trust public exam marking system these days. I'm targeting above 55 for all the objective papers just to be in the safe zone. |

So how's your holidays so far guys?
I don't think there's much time for us to relax and chill anymore I'm trying to make use of this week to finish up my syllabus completely & start doing exercises from next week onwards What about you guys? What's your planning? Added on August 21, 2012, 12:41 pm QUOTE(maximR @ Aug 18 2012, 05:55 PM) Yeaaaaa about that. Only if I started studying earlier like you, I could aim for 60:P So what were you doing around this time last year? Relaxing? Hardcore revision? QUOTE(maximR @ Aug 21 2012, 02:50 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Yes, I've experienced that before during my UPSR year as well. People who hardly paid attention in classes and spent little effort scored 5A's in UPSR. While most of my friends and I who studied really hard since the beginning of the year scored only 4A's. But I've changed a lot throughout the years. Nowadays I don't just study to pass the tests but I do it out of pure passion and interest. And guess what, it's pretty effective. I presume that's how you treat studying too, right? (; I think I'm gonna follow your path. Spamming all the trial papers from all states from today onwards. I'm really confident in getting straight A's or even if screw up , the least I'll be getting is 6A's I guess. Thanks for contributing in this forum dude, you kind of inspired me to study smarter. Oh, I was just about to post this in your form four thread.... Could you do a review of reference books for form four just like you did last year? (if you're free lah) I'm kind of interested in learning Sejarah, Biology, Chemistry and PHYSICS!!! This post has been edited by Sridev Pro Designer: Aug 21 2012, 03:51 PM |

QUOTE(Apple_DarreN @ Sep 12 2012, 08:45 PM) Hey guys, i got a dissapointing 55 marks for my BM on my trials. and need some help improving cause there is still some time. ANy ideas other than reading contoh karangan and newspaper? ![]() That book is highly recommended if you want to improve your BM grammar. Reading alone wouldn't help you much my friend. Start collecting model test papers/trial papers and practise. That's what I'm doing right now This post has been edited by Sridev Pro Designer: Sep 12 2012, 09:45 PM |

QUOTE(Matrix374 @ Sep 13 2012, 03:24 PM) Man I just got through Islamic Studies on my practice exams. Stop whining about it and start having some interest on it. I'm f***ed,sometimes the grammar for the questions makes almost no sense and I just can't understand some of the words like "hikmah" and bla bla bla. Why is this subject even mandatory? Why can this ruin my chances of getting a better education when 90% of the jobs out there don't even use it. Since you're active in the religion thread, I believe that the knowledge you've obtained from your books would be very helpful for you in making your arguments or references. If you always look at it in a non-hateful way, you'll see an improvement. Good luck. This post has been edited by Sridev Pro Designer: Sep 14 2012, 11:24 AM |
