1. It will perform gaming better than the SXPS 1640 since it has lower resolution, but the speaker is quite soft if you intend for movies. It also has high temperature when gaming.
2. It has better screen and speaker+subwoofer compared to A42Jv. When comparing A42Jv and SXPS 1640 side-by-side, you can see A42Jv's screen is yellowish. Gaming performance still decent but need overclocking. Temperature can be quite cool after doing some maintenance.

With RM3K budget, I also agree with this pick. I like HP built quality.
Btw, HD7690 is the rebadged from which 6000 series?

Beats audio means very good sound quality when playback thru speaker/headphones. You dont need to have actual beats headphones.(But if you got then its a plus la)

GDDR5 > GDDR3

I heard that the GT555M already has a GDDR5 RAM version though. IMO, 7690MXT > GT555M > 7690M.

your comment make me butt-hurt..

I'm using Acer Aspire 4738G now, bought it last year at RM2K
but not really that bad la.. I use until now everything still okay, processor and GPU still running well.. (haven't upgrade any specs on my lappy yet)

and guess whut, I can play battlefield 3 in low resolution mode 800x640 in around 25-30FPS.. MW3 45-50fps , assassins creed normal reso n graphic in 30fps

i ain't say anything about performance, since each laptop got their own speciality

and who in the world want to play game on laptop, can't max out everything and only can be played for short period of time due heat problem

anyway here's the story, i've been using 2 Acer Aspire laptop and 1 Acer TimelineX before, those three laptop having overheating and motherboard melt problem.

i was damnn pissed and i finally gave up and i stick on with HP Pavilion G6-Series

isn't that obvious ?

HD7690 were using the most advance graphical technology with 28nm technology rclxms.gif

i don't think gti 555 can beat HD7690M TX. at all.
