Unless old stocks, then only get 2 years warranty. If new stocks, all 1 yr. Samsung will still honor those stocks taken under 2 yrs warranty period. I went to Plaza Samsung today.
Ya, all the stocks grab like crazy. Many dealers also complaint samsung now push tablet with their fast moving model like W or S+... forcing dealers to take both or all items. So dealers now have to think twice abt selling fast moving items cheap. |

If you read the published detail, many not yet update or perhaps don't intend to update their details. I know many still stating 2 yrs warranty. But the info I got is from samsung itself. Dealers confirm with me only. Please dial 1800 88 9999. Don't listen to forumers only, ASK samsung. Or like me, visit Plaza Samsung.

Yes, those dealers who do back date also can get 2 yrs warranty. But I think perhaps all sold out already.
Galaxy R is Ap unit. Nothing from SME yet. Don't just refer garage sales, refer to Samsung. |

I was transferring files into my sd card via MTP connection (I had debugging off) and there wasn't enough space inside my card. But there was no error msg or anything. On my phn, it say "synchronizing" and on my pc it shows it is still transferring, no error msg. I was wondering what is the problem.
Then, I switched to debugging mode, and immediately it say no enough space, before any files are copied. A few questions: 1) My phn has got some bug problems? 2) Should we always use debugging mode or MTP? 3) Is there a way to transfer files via wifi instead of usb cable? Many thanks. |

If you think the 2nd price should be lower by 100, then RM800-850 lo. Even if someone says can buy at RM920 new, I'm sure it will be gone immediately. Closer we get to CNY, more hot it becomes.
Added on January 8, 2012, 4:38 pmThis is from XDA, not abt malaysian mkt of course: Did you get a new Android device for Christmas? Roughly 3.7 million activations occurred on December 24-25 so it’s safe to assume a few of you did. But what it means is there are so many Samsung users, so Samsung should do more for its customers. All the samsung users should demand for a better sales and service from them. They are getting a big fat bonus I'm sure. What you might ask? Why not a nice sp from samsung for all their future new phones. Not very expensive. This post has been edited by n8210: Jan 8 2012, 04:38 PM |

The soft jelly case I have been using changed yellowish... now looks ugly. It started slowly, bit by bit... about 10 months onwards the whole thing becomes very yellow. So put against a black colour phone, not so visible. Now i am using white, damn... the ori case is blue, now after one year it does not look blue, does not look like green, yet you can see yellowish areas... so darn ugly, makes me cry.
Added on January 10, 2012, 1:32 pmBut I like it more than hardshell cos it covers the whole phone. This post has been edited by n8210: Jan 10 2012, 01:32 PM |

Emm....Don't update 2.3.6. Just install apk and have fun. Otherwise watch lots of youtube videos before doing anything else. OR, get a friend/shop who knows android and learn from 1st hand. There is always the possibility of bricking your phone, you can watch examples of that on youtube too. One minute a smart phone, next minute a smart brick!!
