yesterday i put my phone on my table...didnt notice my table was wet...coz put cold water bottle on it before that...set alarm & keep my phone at that place....then morning i woke up notice how come the alarm sound is so weak? carry...wtf...phone is wet...sim card not detected...faster turn off my phone & open up...inside also got a bit water...try to dry it...luckly water didnt enter inside the phone deep deep...& battery wet a bit only but still working as normal...i guess wet on top of the surface only...let it dry under a fan for 1 hour....play music notice my speaker gone case already....the speaker wasnt clear already... was damn sad d...spoil my phone speaker....  then i try to suck the air using my mouth from the speaker hole...hahah got a bit water came out....in the end i use compressed air & spray it inside....after that i test again...fuuuu its back as normal! hahaha luckly phone didnt spoil...  thought i spoil my phone already...  |

i m another satisfied user.... when we got problem then only we will post something or complain in this thread hoping to get a solution to it right? if no problems probably we wont even post anything in here...but i m sure there are hundreds of user out there who dont have problems hence they didnt post anything much in here.... i am another active user....been following this thread since V1....i posted few times only...nothing much to post about coz i dont have any problems with my phone  This post has been edited by infernoaswen: Dec 27 2011, 10:05 PM |

wait what? cant root on 2.3.6? anyone successfully root after updating it? i was thinking of rooting it but if cant or can cause problems then i guess i shouldnt...wait for a solution first? |

i tried rooting it last night but failed. so i guess confirm la 2.3.6 cannot root already...
any suggestion on how to root it? i tired using zergrush v4...

ok i manage to root my phone already. there is two working ways i found for now for those who updated to 2.3.6 via OTA. 1) use odin & flash it back to 2.3.5 then root it using DoomLord 2) root it in recovery mode (read this up http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...04#post21427204 ) first i tried recovery mode & it works even if you are in 2.3.6. then i tried using odin & rooting it...also works. good luck  p/s: sorry just manage to do it today...been busy..work work work & its my first time rooting This post has been edited by infernoaswen: Jan 16 2012, 01:11 AM |

ok guys i manage to flash the stock recovery with clockworkmod v5.5.0.4 via odin. when i boot in recovery mode everything is ok. can see its v5.5.0.4 & i manage to create a backup. but when i use the clockworkmod app & tried doing a backup it crashes..& i see from the app the recovery is version 2.something... question is how do i update the app so that it recognized the v5.5.0.4 that i flashed recently via odin? or can i link it in some way? |
