We spend RM800 - RM900 to buy this phone. With 800 USD, you can get an Iphone4s in US. Low/mid end product is definitely not as popular there as here.

Anyway thanks, I think thats the last question. Will wait for some announcement from banks before actually buying the phone

previously this phone was struggling and really lags to even play angry birds, now its just smooth
like on my galaxy w.     
I really f#$ked up my gf's phone when i updated her phones firmware from froyo to gingerbread 2.3.4, makes the phone ULTRA LAGS SUPER SNAIL SMALL.
SAMSUNG IS AN IDIOT for releasing this update for ace.
now i dun give a sh*t if ICS ever comes out for galaxy w, cyanogenmod is the way for the future.
no more stupid firmware updates from samsung.
I cant sleep well now until arco68 release a stable version of the CM9 now after what i see it can do.

I've heard of some la. There's one time where a person was using custom rom or something but still managed to claim warranty haha

no need. my previous Ace, rooted, go to Samsung to update to Gingerbread, they even tell me, if you update, your root will be gone... i say it's ok.

CyanogenMod (CM) 7.2.0 on GB 2.3.7 n CM9 on ICS 4.0 will be out by arco68 n his gang at XDA.

Oxygen is just like CM7 a lighter side but with arco68 advice to the developer.....more CPU power n performance  will be achieved using CM....

of course I know about those bla bla things. you now are comparing diff brand of Eeepad and Galaxy Tab, of course that's a different.

now SGW and SGM is within same brand, different pixel of course make some different.

Nice! Will do that. I am now trying to make the ROM a little more non-stocky... I did the following:

1. YES! REMOVED TouchWiz!
2. Using Zeam Launcher
3. Go SMS Pro
4. ICS Wallpaper
5. Roboto font (thanks!)

The memory usage is even lower! Now pending approval from Zeam and Go developers before I can release it
