I'm looking at phone transfer speed because I'll be transferring into it via phone, USB. That should be much easier because MicroSD in W is 'undercover'. Not quite easy to remove it. When transferring via usb cable, the speed is still limited by Galaxy W. It makes no difference in this case. *I think so...* No need 32GB ehhhh Too massive

not, even with usb transfer, mine can up to 20mb/s, i think its the advantages of class 10.
i use old class 4 which free from the SEP store, speed around 5-6mb.
so see yourself la.
enjoy.

But if you look at bottom of Apps2sd, it saying that total is only 1.7GB (which is the size of internal usb/sd). Now I'm oso confused

yes, the btm show ur internal sd. but when you move apps to sd (app2sd) it actually move to your external memory.
try install a new app/game, then manual move to sd, u see the 1.7gb does not reduce, and your 1gb internal do reduce, then check on external_sd storage it do reduce space. (as app2sd it move the data to your external sd.)
when use laptop open, go to external_sd, you found a file name ".androidsecure" which it store your game data there.
or use astro file manager to see it.
so, concluson it app2sd is move to external_sd. no worry. try it then you're know it.
