i think most of us here rooted using this zegrush method, the different is that, got doomlord and zegrush itself. im using doomlord.

      (1) make sure u have installed adb drivers for ur device
      (2) enable "USB DEBUGGING"
            from (Menu\Settings\Applications\Development)
      (3) enable "UNKNOWN SOURCES"
            from (Menu\Settings\Applications)
      (4) [OPTIONAL] increase screen timeout to 10 minutes
      (5) connect USB cable to PHONE and then connect to PC

2.3.6 cannot be root lah. we all rooted at 2.3.5 only

if you want 2.3.6 rooted, then install custom rom better.

i just know there is 2.3.6 for Malaysia! dont know if can root or not. but flash back to 2.3.5 is a safe bet.

bro, have u download the rom file as given by cow yesterday. download that, then flash the 2.3.5 rom back. then rooted, then if you want, install the latest custom rom from cow.

to flash, you need to boot into recovery mode. and put that rom u download from yesterday link into /sdcard.
