Wanna ask that how to kepy my RAM always stay at minimal usage? Coz I just on phone, It already hike to 260mb used out of 351mb. After open few apps and close, then already > 300mb =.=!
Even play low graphic game like cut the rope also quite lag... Hmmm anyone?

It's normal..there's no way you can free those ram with the stock samsung rom..you gonna have to flash to custom rom from @cowithgun or @kezra...theirs are lighter and faster

Last time some windows phone can be flashed to android. can Bada or iphone be flashed ?

By the way, about the contacts... I export my contacts from old wm phones and import it into google contacts. After I synchronized into my phone, I add in facebook sync as well. Then those duplicated contacts I manually join them into google's contacts. Now the problem is, how do I write/copy over the e-mail stored in facebook's contact into google's contact? (In case next time change new phone no need join them again because their e-mail are already stored in my google's contact)

Extra question, can we sync Facebook birthday to contact? Thanks for all SIFUs here

Deliver will deliver on exact date. My earpiece is loud enough, lagging problem is minimal, battery die fast only if you do gaming/voice call for long hour, RAM too low is a problem but it's due to Samsung background services, bootloop happens only if you root it and flash it to some other ROM and done wrongly else normal user no bootloop problem.

Cut the rope lag? Never encounter before. What I did is I switched to Go Launcher EX instead of using TW Launcher. It seems the RAM usage is quite much lower after I switch to Go Launcher EX. It does peak to 300++ but after some time, android will close unused apps and free out the RAM to 210~230. Normal usage stays around 250~270. It's fun to play with the RAM. Yesterday I tried loading a web page game, pretty large in size. I think android free out most of the RAM for the flash game. After I exit 'Internet', used RAM is only 16XMB but eventually increase back after I load the launcher.

Erm... After you download facebook apps on your phone, you can choose to sync facebook contact. From there, all the birthdays should be synced into your Calendar. At least mine did. But I disabled Facebook Contact Sync since not all my facebook friends are important. Lazy to see all their birthday

BTW, after I installed facebook apps, i chose only sync contact that I know. But problem is the FB name and my contact's name not the same. So I have to manually goto facebook friend's list and join them 1 by 1

I tried Go Launcher EX on someone's Galaxy S2, it indeed very cool... hopefully it will run smooth as well in SGW...

After I installed Go Launcher EX if I want to uninstall it, amI able to go back my previous Ori launcher ah?

Yes. You also can use your stock launcher when you have Go Launcher installed. I used to have ADW, Go Launcher installed in my phone once. That is like 3 launchers i'm using.

of course can... just exit the launcher will back to normal.

Just download it, set it up as your wish. Then press 'Home' button. Tick the box for it to launch as Default and choose Go Launcher EX.

Erm... When I'm looking for the one I wanted, I installed ADW, Regina, Full Screen, GO, 7(just for that it's 7 ), iLauncher, and stock TW Launcher but I stick to Go launcher. ADW and Regina has nice transition effect but too bad... I think both doesn't support folder in App drawer which I can't stand with. Full Screen also tak ada folder in App Drawer. Afterall... I stick to Go Launcher despite NOT-SO-COOL effect. Now I got 3 launcher. Go, 7 and TW. 7 really just for fun.

cant do nandroid backup in rzrecovery

says 475mb needed but 0 available so backup failed

on 2.3.5 rooted followed all the steps

my sis w cant connect to kies..i want to update her fon, since got no sim, so no ota yet...yesterday can connect, error occured, tried today, cannot...

heheheheh juz coincident we both rzcovery same time???

mine need 513mb to backup...waiting to try cow's slim rom
