Is it possible to do the rooting, recovery, flashing, and install rom by using the andriod phone itselves. no need to go through pc.

My Trusty Nokia N82, Symbian S60v3 allows me to set DNS, set Internal IP, proxy server, etc etc Android can't connect to an Ad-Hoc network  |

i tried to restore my stock rom with nandroid after restoring when i boot it stucked at the boot screen
edit:should i just send it to the shop where i bought my phone from?
