seems to has 'Windows' like behaviour. The longer time your system is up, the more ram it eats... Clear memory also not much effect. 

mebbe your speaker got covered or the ringtones itselves are not loud. try diffrerent ringtoness

Jus updated to 2.3.6. Scrolling fast is butttery smooth. Not bad ya...

buggy? Mine no problem at all, with go launcher, go locker, go notification and go sms pro. all nice and smooth.

well, my free ram always between 100-60mb. when comes to <50mb, I just reboot,
then it will have back 100-90mb. just somethings some games/apps will leave the caches/system or what ever things keep on running, so reboot will just off them all.
and I uninstall the default facebook and twitter, because it somehow running at background,
min consume 4-5mb, max I saw it consume 40mb of my ram (facebook apps).
so just uninstall it. XD

and they don't really take up much ram, go notification (2-3mb), go locker (2-3mb), go sms pro (10-20mb) you can exit it if you no sms, go launcher 30-40mb but i think is quite normal lo.
as my free ram always around 100-60,70mb.

just grab this phone lasy nite with rm950 st Pacific mall,penang....what i can say..the inyernet pretty fast and the camera is likely superb...

my frens W only got 85-95mb of free ram even with 1 homescreen with clock widget and 4 apps icon. background app running only go keyboard and viber (check with advance task killer)

is it normal?

just wanna share my 2 cents worth.

had an issue with the phone's wifi today. successfully connected to my home's wifi router, but the browser won't surf, apps can't connect. all these worked fine with mobile data connection. no problem with other wifi devices like laptops and PC. restarting both router and phone did not solve the problem.

I didn't want to do a factory reset for both, so i tried using static IP on the phone and discovered that the first DNS server configured on my wifi router was down. seemed like other devices were able to re-route data via the backup DNS IPs but that wasn't the case for the phone. so i changed the DNS IPs on the wifi router and my phone was back online 

hope this info is able to help some of you guys out there. cheers!

Which Maxis data plan are you on? The Facebook plan?

Just go and download My data manager la...it shows you which app have been sucking away your data. Btw Maxis' data counter is quite buggy wan always show different numbers and slow to update.

I'm also thinking to go into VPI 50 because I'm actually in the process of porting to u mobile but my current data usage is around 80mb for 15 days meaning I don't use much so kinda no point using u mobile haha. U mobile data coverage isn't very good

I thought I use a lot but actually I don't use much wan lah haha..around 5-6mb per day on average so 250mb should be enough haha and also..I don't go out much

Agree... USB Ports are everywhere nowadays  This is bulkier than a USB cable+Charger. Another thing is... must remember to recharge it else it's useless too. Btw, W easily last more than 24 hours. When you're low on battery (10~20% perhaps), just keep data and wifi off, everything is good to last you another 10 hours.    Seriously mine last 7~8hours for 1% drop. But that is complete cell standby with no usage at all.

so basically this phone can last for how long? lets say for moderate usage with screen brightness set to lowest and wifi/data turned on ...
