I don't have auto debit or JOMPAY for anything...

My spending consists purely of this:

1. BP, Boost, Grab and TNG (AT LEAST 5K MONTHLY HERE)
2. Direct payments for education, insurance, hospitals
3. Shopee, Lazada

I don't use for anything else, as all other expenditure goes to my M2Reserve.

Yearly I always overspend about 2-5k above 108k just to leave a buffer.

ok, so far over the past 10 months i calculate in the insurance auto debit RM1k plus per month

Maybe check with the life chat agent like the previous poster did?

I'm going to check also later since my tracking for this year is only from April to YTD so I can confirm if anything I spent is excluded...

I always check my updated total spending YTD(from anniversary date) with Live chat agent, to tally with my own tracking. All this while was quite OK(quite tally). Just recent month it show some big different, after some detail check, found that it was my recent boost top up not counting as part of it.

I just did a live chat too, and my own records of "qualifying spend" from 1 April to 3 July match to the cent with HLB records.

Within this period, at least 10k was spent on Boost, so therefore it was definitely included for me.

How are you tracking your spending?

I Excel each item per the statement, and only exclude my Flexipay instalments and SST. I also deduct any refunds.

I put each transaction into excel. Well, sometime i could miss one or two at my side but its ok as long as the figure from live agent is greater than mine record. smile.gif

Nvm, since its still counted at your side. Let me check again. Could be i overlook something.

Thanks for your info.

May i suggest that you get an email reply from HL on the status for Boost whether it is considered part of RM108K or not.

Hi folks, just to share an experience of mine with HLB fortune.
I bought something from lazada, and returned the goods, got the full refund from the vendor within a statement month. So I paid the remaining amount of my credit card balance on time, but I was charged 15% interest of that refunded amount because HLB does not consider the refunded amount as a payment. (CR RM 2500)

Maybe this is a known fact but to me this is bullshxt. I have called the Cs but I was told I can only waive it once I make the full payment for July statement which is alright. But this is stupid.

Hi, I just want to confirm a few things
1) E-wallet transaction:
a) Boost - I saw a few of you state that boost is no longer counted, is that true?
b) How about TnG and Grab?

2) Big Pay
Allow credit card reload RM 2500, but only allow withdrawal of up to RM 2000 per month. So if I Reload RM 2000 into big pay and withdraw the cash to pay for the credit card every month, I just need to worry about spending RM 7000 every month. The withdrawal fee is RM 0.50 per RM 1000, that is only 0.05%, which is okay consider the RM 2.22% that I will get. Do you all think that this is feasible?

Thank you!

Did you made the payment based on the statement balance?
I have no problem with the refunded amount as long as I pay the statement balance before the due date.

2) I have noted that reload into big pay is counted as part of the 108k. Big pay allows us to reload up to RM 10,000 into the wallet. What do you all think of this idea: reload 9k every month into big pay and just focus to use big pay card in all transactions such as insurance, online shopping etc, and the balance of the cash transfer to bank (the charge is only RM 0.50 per RM 1000 transfer - i.e 0.05% charge)?

Thank you!

BigPay can only reload max RM2.5k per month. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the reply! I noted about this after I posted so I have edited my previous post, which I copy below:

My card anniversary is 19 Sep. Will I still get the additional real cash if I hit 108k before 1 Sep?
