Actually HID outperforms halogen IF you stick to 4300k, if you mod those pure white, bluish or purple color HID bulbs then you are asking for it during foggy or raining weather..(trying to bring you to the bright side tongue.gif )

Its not so bright, its the camera aperture open too long to compensate the rest of the dark area, making the bulbs look much brighter than it is, and the white balance makes it whiter than it is.... whistling.gif whistling.gif

This is a matter of perception.....

In heavy rain, misty or foggy weather, you DONT look at the rain/mist/fog illuminated by the bulbs.... you look at the lines on the road.... and i find white HID is the best to bring out the white lines on the roads... and i find white light illuminated and reflects items lying on the roads irregardless of weather....

Yup.... my eyes sees things differently.... laugh.gif laugh.gif

I just got back from kl to ktn just now. it was raining.

a very personal opinion:

my hid 4300k performs better during rainy days compare to holagen...surprisingly, I can see further n better, very much diff from others who claim holagen performs better than HID.

and, after temerloh it stops raining. and the vision is so much better... as the light sprays broader ( note: not higher). in fact, tht better vision has helped me for a safer driving at night... who knows, one day it might save my life.

of course these are my personal opinion. n I don't sell them wink.gif
