Haha ~ Too bad GoPro don't have changeable lens tongue.gif Hmm ~ How much a great bike cost ? I'm training for Triathlon ~ But using school's bike only ~ Any bike have place for camera mount ? (Moderator cannot warn bout this too ) tongue.gif

great bike are very subjective, it is depend the body material, its accessories, i got colleague who recommend to buy bike min. rm3k and above, else dont buy when i approach him to recommend which brand to go sweat.gif his bike is rm5digit which after you ride, you get more energies sweat.gif bike got hard tail and FS (full suspension), and fold bike. i picked HT after listen to many feedback that FS < rm5k cannot touch at all. there is common problem on FS and always need to be replace that part.

please check on here, you may consult other real expert biker http://cforum2.cari.com.my/forumdisplay.php?fid=194 when you bought sport camera such as GoPro, sure they provide you can mount on the bike. just like cateye meter, its sensor cable tie at wheel there laugh.gif may be GoPro is much more reliable mechanism to lock it camera

nope, D7000 just back in shelf this week, same with A77, a friend from johor just intend order from sony A77, by tomorrow will reach johor.

big city hot shop will have stock at top priority especially sell at 6299. here is rural town, only got 1 camera shop. they are depending sony to release stock to them or not. last december, sony not release to them for sell at 5500. so, definitely a77qv at 5500 sure will be the lowest priority in supply to this shop. i purely understand the situation, just could blame i do not have luxury budget for 6299 package

Hi sifus I have a55 with kits and 50mm 1.8. Basically I will be going For dinner tonight, wanna shoot some amoi. I think I will use 50mm since it has larger aperture for low light condition. What setting should I use? The lighting would be a bit of yellowish and dim. How to set WB? ISO 800 a55 can tahan? Aperture 1.8 for individual, 4-5 for two people? Thanks in advance
*
50mm hard to shoot >2-3 persons in a table photo in close distance, a 1855 seem do more better w/ a flash gun

but raynox has a limitation.
1. it only can use with lens with filter thread of 52-67mm (just took out my raynox manual)
2. sometimes its hard to keep them, (taking off the cap is difficult tongue.gif) and if u let it stay mount on the adapter, the rear side has no protection.
3. ermmmm i cant think of anymore... main problem was the 52-67... so, those big 77mm thread, sorry la...
*
oh, so bad, mean a77 cant use raynox sweat.gif and hve to real macro lens

Anyone samyang 85 f1.4 user here? like to ask do we still need the AF chip mod to the lens if we have peaking mode in body for MF?

QUOTE(albnok @ Mar 8 2012, 03:08 PM)
jimlim007: The benefits of the AF confirm chip are:

- the chip reports a focal length, e.g. 50mm, which allows for SteadyShot to happen. This might be important if you shoot video. The longer the lens, the more the sensor needs to move, so if you put a 50mm chip on a 300mm lens, it won't be as effective as a 300mm chip on a 300mm lens.
- AF confirm happens (green dot).
- the chip reports aperture, e.g. F1.7, but setting the aperture anything other than F1.7 means you will also have to stop down the lens before you shoot - if you set it to F3.5 but leave the lens wide open, your shutter speed will be 4 times slower and overexposed by 2 EV.

I find that the green dot is not accurate enough when manual focusing - even though you are near focus it will still light up. Peaking also isn't extremely accurate. The best is still to use the 14x magnify like on the A77.

If you plan to use a wider manual focus lens, it is okay to use without a chip e.g. 50mm F1.4 as long as you have Check Focus Live View (A33/A35/A55/A65/A77/A450/A500/A550/A560/A580 and all NEX bodies).
*
I aksed this because Samayng is MF lens. so think what utilities that will assist me in the easiest and effective way to confirm the focus if I buy this lens. So, 1st we do have AF chip on the lens, 2nd and 3rd we have peaking and magnify in body. while considering the little inaccurate of the AF chip, and if shooting portrait in 85mm via VF (lwliam replied green dot on OVF, can this workable on EVF too?), look like it is more easier if EVF not able to do peaking/magnify (will test it tonight), if EVF can do so, then I can forgot this AF chip.

But for what AF chip (what focal length/aperture chip) to be use in the 85 f1.4, I will further verify with the seller. thanks all of you!

jimlim007: Even if the seller puts a 50mm chip on the 85mm it's not so bad since they are quite close.

I have an Opteka 85mm F1.4 (rebadged from Samyang). I initially had the AF chip, then it dropped off and I can't find it. The EVF does show the green dot also on a chipped lens.

Yes, the wonderful thing about the EVF is that you can magnify - in fact I use that a lot with the Samyang 35mm F1.4 and 85mm F1.4. I can't rely so much on peaking, but then maybe I need to lower the peaking level to Low - will find out tonight if it makes a difference.
*
i tried peaking white, hardly to use. tried with red peak in low and high. high more obvious can see. but on your previous post, you had mentioned about magnify 14x. how to that? so far i do is 2x by press the button between Fn and Playback twice.

I received a call from a scammer today that said I owe credit card company some money. I said I did not have this credit card before. They said it's possible that my identity had been stolen and asked me to call BANK NEGARA - PUSAT PENGURUSAN KAD PALSU. I called the number they gave me and they asked me to RESET MY PIN NUMBER FOR MY ATM CARD at the ATM MACHINE. I called Bank Negara via their number on their website to double confirm. BANK NEGARA TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT EVER FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS! BANK NEGARA DO NOT HAVE A PUSAT PENGURUSAN KAD PALSU DEPARTMENT! EVER! FOLLOWING THEIR INSTRUCTIONS WILL ONLY CAUSE ALL YOUR MONEY IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THEM VIA YOUR ATM CARD!

This is a real case and it happened to me this morning. Please share this info with all your friends and prevent this fraud!

I posted the same information on my facebook page too. This is real. It happened to me THIS MORNING. Luckily I realized it at the last minute and (hopefully) had prevented them from stealing my money! Please share this information with your friends and love ones.

hell yeah! i have heard this a lot. i have set my mindset on whatever issue relate to credit card or bank stuff, i will get myself direct to bank settle face2face. urgent is not a matter or it will be a loop hole to trap against ourself.
