the usual answer:
change wireless channel
the width from 20/40 to 20 oni (or something like that)
if u broadcast b/g/n try only g or only n (depend what device u hv la, if all n
just n no g/b).

in ur screenshot, change this settings:

channel bandwidth set to 20

channel: set to 3
extension channel: set to 7 or 6? it should only allow valid value...
try other combination but dont try channel 1 or channel 6 or the last one.... bcoz this is the default on many router... dun use them so no interfer with other device

THE BAD
The Asus RT-N16 is bulky and doesn't support dual-band communication. Its USB ports don't provide enough power for bus-powered portable hard drives. When running Asus' stock firmware, the router is buggy and has an unstable wireless signal.

Did you consider sending your unit back to the shop for RMA? could it be faulty?
If you know anyone with the same model, maybe you can test the wireless. If its the same then you know its just how the router is. If its much better then your unit is faulty and ask for RMA

Also my friend always tells me not to keep any other wireless devices near the router. Cordless phone etc they make the wireless worse so make sure you put it in a good place.
