The purpose of this poll is to see how many people actually have problemss with going to events.

This thread is not for people to whine about venues, its a simple question, if the tournament was at any of the above locations would you join. If its only 1 answer select one, if its any of them select all of the above and then some.

I will express more details later on.

Have fun

First poll option, should be called MyCore Cyberjaya.

I wish to see it happen in FTZ more than other place tho, more access to places to eat/drink/see college leng luis/so forth, i can't guarantee if the network connection are going to be good since they have more than 500 PCs.

Cyberjaya is more like...silent hill...if you get what i mean, if you want to eat, you must drive out to like 1-2km away from the venue to look for foods.

Just pick one, and I will assume the rest.. The real question is if people are willing to venture to cyberjaya, which is becoming obvious that they are not... IT kind of answered my question.

Won't explain why I ask the Q. But details will come sometime soon.

i voted cyberjaya...things is their pc are better and don't face many disconnections issues....btw i live here so probably dats y i chose it. FTZ is fine with me as well but the connection thr is horrible i used to ladder thr early days and sometimes i would just lose by DC...actually many place to eat here in Cyberjaya as well but i understand some complains by gamers as they r not familiar wif this area.

Has anyone tried playing SC2 in FTZ? I find the computers really laggy, or maybe I was using the wrong ones? It was being strained running SC2 on lowest settings

I wanna say blitzone coz their pc is good there, but FTZ might be good also coz a lot of gamers flock there, so better exposure.
If for my own convenience, I would say cyberjaya coz I stay here. huhu. But I can go to blitzone and FTZ, no prob, but a bit far for blitzone...

So conclusion... FTZ!

I see, I just remembered last year we had a competition held in FTZ subang by SMM. Everyone had to bring their own coms there and the competition was a HUGE FAILURE as the network there failed TWICE. I hope that this will not be happening to FXOpen

Sadly it happened back in last week, where FTZ hosted a christmas eve party for Steam games like tf2/portal/dota2, so on, when we tried to connect, it takes forever to do so, even if we managed to get in, you will still hang due to heavy loaded on their database server.

Sadly when i stand up and looks at the seas of dota player, non of them got issues.

ppl who choose cybercore = got car
ppl who choose cc = got no car

if venue in cybercore = ppl got no car wont attend
if venue in cybercafe = ppl got car will still attend

it is not about the votes that finalize thing imo, unless fxo got a coach for us

Kaiz, I think he meant coach as in a bus. But anyways, a suggestion is to send someone to test out the venue for whatever issues before deciding on the venue. Don't want it to be like another Blitzone BU incident.
