Kuman, I kept my ships in my small glass cabinet and its getting overcrowded as my collections are getting more and more.
By the way, the diameter of each ship varies from each other as there are different classes of ships ranging from aircraft carrier to small auxilliary vessel. The largest i have is about 30cm and smallest is about 10cm.

cool... i see you arrange the ships in a formation of a real life fleet.. smile.gif (i think) since the carrier will be in the middle of the formation so that it might be protected by all the other ships around it..

cool thumbup.gif

and your kichen cabitnet looks familiar.. smile.gif

Well.. I have 3 IJN vessels.. Yamato, Mogami and Hibiki. I bought them more than 5 years ago. At that time, Yamato cost only around RM50. Unfortunately, they were destyored when my relatives came to my house. Darn those kids.. I'm so angry with them. I want to start again soon.. he he. How about the shop at Midvalley Megamall? Although not Tamiya but has Chinese today warships.

sad.gif so sad to hear about your ship... sad.gif

that's the reason why i kept my model in a locked-glass cabinet, so that they can only "SEE"... no touching smile.gif

so far all the kids and my relatives-kids doesnt bother with the model... they only want to see it... so far atleast..

=========
ok as for the ship models..
i saw a couple of models here from the KITECH brand (its a Chinese brand).. hmm i think they have USS Kitty Hawk, USS Abraham Lincoln & USS George Washington and one more from the British Navy & Russian Navy.... i didnt really notice the name..

the price range is between RM40-RM50 (iirc)

since i'm not really into ship modelling so i didnt pick up the model... but recently i'm thinking of getting maybe just one model just for curisity sake.. smile.gif

Hi there... wow!!!

I also collect WW2 IJN ships, mostly carriers
- Shokaku, zuikaku, zuiho, Junyo, Shinano,Ryujo(built but very bad)
- Akagi ( 1/450 scale )

The best part about this is that, most of them i didn't built yet and still in the box !!! smile.gif , getting a red ear from my dad for spending too much money on models smile.gif

Now i'm into Macross Zero models smile.gif
*
smile.gif now you get red ear from dad.. later when you're married.. another red ear from Wife.. smile.gif
- quite a collection there Winters....
- i a'so into Macross stuff.. i have 1 Macross Zero VF10s and one Macross Plus YF19.. but sadly.. havent been built yet.... cought up with a modeller syndrome... "Buy but never build" sad.gif

QUOTE(Winters @ Apr 21 2006, 12:21 AM)
I agree... i don't even have a airbrush n compressor. that why haven't built any tongue.gif

I built the IJN Ryujo, but it didn't turn out well smile.gif
*
same with me.. dunno when i can buy my own a/b and compressor.. now saving a lil bit every month to get one.. getting tired of handbrushing and spray cans.. smile.gif
