wow...nice thread here..
only realize the existence of this thread after using dv6-6001tx for almost 3 month...
and this thread would help me a lot, i think...
btw, i think i want format the HDD, re-partition and install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit...how sifus and gurus here recommend? It is good? It will void the warranty?
And if I already format the HDD, re-partition and install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, it is possibly to retrieve back the pre-install Window 7 Home Premium?

Nope...i taught that the CD given is the recovery disc but im just found out that the disc given is the user guide blink.gif

Luckily i didnt format my lappy yet...but my friend already did...can he just make a recovery disc from my lappy?

Can someone advise me, what HP software need to keep?
And FYI, I already uninstall all of it.
So, I need to know which HP software that will be useful to my beloved dv6001tx and where can I find the software to re-install it back.
