I have no idea about the missing taskbar and etc. i found out after install the cpufrequtils has being causing me to stuck at loading phase with fatal error when cpufreq trying to set the governor. took me some time to fix it. i found out now im in fallout mode whenever im using intel sandy bridge mobile. :S
