Finally got mine DV6-6C19TX yesterday with additional 4gb ram at RM65, free RM100 shopping voucher.

I shrink my C: and get 300GB for data partition, but it is labeled G. Drive D and E are occupied by HP recovery. Can i change the letter G to D, and change respective HP recovery to other label? Will i have any problem later when i want to use recovery manager? will it wipe off my D partition too?

hey guys ! after 1/2 days of survey online/shops between N55SF and DV6 ! aww, i think im gona choose dv6-6c19tx )! I have  a question bout the ram, because I'm gona buy it with +ram. and should i tell the person get me the same brand rams (dual channel rams condition..?) will get better right? ..

and.. i'm kinda afraid that fellow change my hp default ram ? is there anythings there call default rams? <= the 4gb ram i means.
is that possible for the seller to change my ram brands?
because one of my friend bought there n53sn with ram+4gb.. and after cpu-z it's given nanya/ and hyundai electronic ram ..

Added on April 7, 2012, 12:06 pm... it's not a good things to do much survey, 1st i did survey bout n55sf bout their pro and cons, and see the comparison with dv6 19tx. they did survey bout dv6, and going to buy it today.. and I found many people complain dv6 hp the heating issues ! is it real ? hp still havent fixed the issues yet? ... awwwwww please some 1 kindly solve my problems. I dont to waste 3k on a laptop with wearing gloves to use it. . . .~

ok last question answer me fast , so  i can book it b4 10.  the question is IF i wait until the ivy out, will dv6 19xt drop price? ! and will it be end of life?!

2morrow gonna pickup my Dv6, gonna pimp it out with a 8gb ram.

SSD now thinking whether want to salvage parts from my rig and put it into the laptop or not.... 

Though if I add a SSD, i will lose mostly my storage

which version are u on? because, earlier version of Skyrim don't have Large Address Aware hence frequent CTD when it want to use >2GB of ram.

+1 I'm still hesitating to buy a smartphone because the technology move so fast.

yes it's still green colour. i will try calling hp also to replace my keyboard. I don't want to plug in my battery all the time because sometimes i leave my laptop in the car. Heat will kill the battery faster. Do you plug in your battery even when you're playing games?

i never carry my battery around. Left it in the box. Too heavy and too short battery life.

How short?

Mine last bout 4 hours when tweaked down to almost nothing.

But of course, the TFP outlast it hahaha.

I'm just wondering why HP has discontinued the DV7-6c00TX and DV6-6168TX. Any idea, anyone?
