owhh crapp.. my warranty ended one day after i got my laptop back from HP last month .... which means the '1y1y0y' is actually not two years..

if i connect my house de wifi i can use without problem but when i go manyS of my fren house after i connect keep on got internet>no internet access>then gt internet back...using mcdonals wifi oso same...
what could be the problem ah???very annoying ler

what wifi card ur dv6 using? broadcom? ralink? atheros? intel? try download latest driver from the manufacturer website.

the solution is not working, already tried both of it many times, every time I failed I did system restore, always fail to install AMD display driver
I think it's time to format my system

that sucks man..

my last resort before reformat would be atiman + driver sweeper + cleanup utility + pnputil.

tough luck bro.. happened to me few times after installing some window updates. managed to fix it somehow.

any1 here is using Windows 8 release preview on dv6 yet?

i think i just screwed up, i formatted my system using windows image on minimal installation state, and only have C: partition,
so I lost my D: partition with around 300-400 GB files on it, including movies, music, documents, and etc, I lost everything at once, feels like having a new laptop lol

hmm.. try this driver?

not feeling good but feeling awkward at the moment

the windows already made my partition into one, only C:,
its the same state like factory setting only C: for system, D: recovery, and E: hp tools
there is nothing I can do to recover my files, moving on is the only way

and actually which AMD driver I should use?, it seems I can't install DNA 12.6b.2 having the same failed installation like previous when before formatted my laptop. I already installed my HP official SG driver then DNA still failed, I think I am gonna install leshcat again but don't know which version is stable, since it's still fresh install i think I won't have any problem

EDIT:
it seems I still have my luck, finally, I recovered all of my files using easeus, and none of them is corrupted lol
and I could successfully install DNA driver, using the DNA-AMD Fusion, so far haven't got any problems with it

Problem with the game I think? Always able to play for half an hour then suddenly it freezes and on rare occasions, BSOD cause driver failed. With or without overclocking is the same case.

I heard there are memory leak problems with the game. Wait for a patch? :S

yea, that game has problem itself.

i see.. i disabled logical core thru task manager proc affinity, i can play proto2 much longer now.

did u all used to play nfs underground 2 be4??? i play the game during 2007 on my old desktop and the graphic is extremely nice although play in medium settings only. i go dl and play on my dv6 (sure running at all high setting) the graphic is so so only... maybe got influenced by newer nfs liao btw its still a good game thou

feel u man.. i remember when i play most wanted many years ago the graphic look so damn awesome to me even at medium. now when i play it back with max out setting + anti aliasing i was like.



hope the new most wanted wont suck like the run.
