I have done a factory reset using the dv6 recovery disc on my new 120gb Mushkin Chronos Sata 3 SSD, the process takes around 70 minutes.

My 750gb loaded HDD boots within 35 seconds

Factory reset SSD boots within 11 seconds

Loaded SSD boots within 17 seconds

after finish download, i try instal it...and i have a problem...

this warning dont show...i think its will be ok...but...


the problem stil the same when its now delate...

Uninstall that version and delete the setup file. Download this version instead.

Hello all, I just bought a stock off HP 6190 for just 580€! I love this laptop however I'm having a lot of problems running my main game, League of Legends, the game keeps crashing with windows errors or just not giving any error at all. Also, sometimes it seems like it just loses the internet connection, because when I get back to windows after the crash my browser doesnt respond nor can I ping google. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Have u update Windows(don't update graphic driver through Windows Update), DirectX and drivers? Are you using Dynamic switching or Fixed?

Sory acid, I should have said that. I have updated windows, have the latest drivers, directx, fixed, I've pretty much done all the usual suspects, inclusive the msiafterburner you've posted. I've actually even tried older drivers. I just dont see any logical reason.

Hmmm, i've never updated it before, anything special??

If thats the case, i'll d/l the afterburner & try out.

any solution to this?

That disconnected from internet part is new to me.

1. You can try increase the Timeout Detection and Recovery(TDR) Delay by adding a DWORD "TDRDelay" into HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers and set a higher value like 9 or 10.

2. Another method is to disable TDR for that particular driver. You can do this by running Verifier from Start Menu.
Select "Display Information about the currently verified driver" and click Next. Then click Add and select the driver that stop responding and click change on the left pane. Untick "Deadlock Detection". You probably will get BSOD if the driver stop responding completely though..



Skyrim prior to update v1.4 was very unoptimized. After update v1.4 i get around 40fps in Solitude and over 30fps in Markath. Previously i get around 25 in Solitude and 15-ish in Markath if i'm viewing the center of the town.

Window disk management got show any partition in that 750GB?

I have 3 options when i right click Disk 1 (750gb HDD)

1) Convert to Basic Disk
all data inside will be lost

2) Reactivate the Disk
tried but it shows error

3) Offline
it does not help

so my only option is to convert it to basic disk, option 1?

^ Try use Minitool or Easeus Partition software. It can convert dynamic disk to basic without losing data. Win disk management can't do that. You probably need to delete some volume because basic disk only support 4 physical partition.

try not to use it. it has problem in windows 7. by default, windows 7 can control the wifi and bt separately. im also using the gigabyte bt mouse with the wireless turn off.
