Ppl can not call in my phone.

do it because of 2g line?
and there is 3 choices either GSM/WCDMA or GSM or WCDMA .
which one do i choose for my data?

the settings in my voltage controller is not saved upon reboot

hi guys! need help!!
i have flashed my gf's SGS2 with CheckROM. it was working well until one fine morning when she restarts her phone, the pix below appear. i thought what the heck. press the vol button but no respond.

then i try to go into recovery mode with the three button combo but it cant. instead it start up like normal and the phone can be use. however, when you turn off the phone, it wont the pic below will appear again until you try the recovery button combo and it will start.

i think the phone has lost its recovery mode as well as the download mode. the download mode is not working too. either with vol - + home + usb or vol- + home+ power button, i just cant get into download mode to try to flash other kernel.

now everytime she reboot her phone, she gotta use the recover button combo to start the phone  and i kena screwed upside down. i'm ordering my usb jig now.....

help anyone? or anyone experienced this before?

yupe, tried to boot from CWM manager- if extended power menu is what i understand correctly
tried to flash siyah kernel from CWM manger too but it will just land to that state and the button is not responding
btw, the vol button is normal during normal phone state.

that will be the last option really before i do anything, but i suspect that wont help if i cant get into recovery mode at all.
tried to flash back the nandroid backup but it just wont go into recovery mode....

after took suggestion try without micro SD card ...
today is day 5 ... my phone work smooth didnt hang also

One question.
Can we connect to pc and scan for viruses using pc antivirus?
Scared if it deletes any system file and screw up the phone...

like that you mar cannot use micro sd card forever?

my friend also having some problem with his G version phone(from digi), after buying new class 10 32gb DNA micro SD card and used it for few days, today suddenly:
- when start up, no app can load
- when remove the sd card, then can load

any suggestions? format the micro SD card?

I'm using external SD card since day one, Apacer 8GB class 4. Initially hang during browsing website but since flashed to SuperROM, no more hang 

theres battery problem wit G version too..
my fren S2 cant charge when he plug in the power cable. theres a exclamation mark on the big battery(when u charging ur phone while turning off)

Hey guys, when i closed some apps like games, the apps still shown in battery usage amd eating some percent of battery juice. I used task killer to make sure if the app is closed but the app isn't in the list. So why the closed game app still drain battery even after few hours and how can i solve this if it is a problem?

So you mean it just show battery usage of the app when it was using and not indicate  that the closed app still using battery until now?

I'm having this very annoying problem with Kies after updating to 2.3.6. Kies just WON'T detect my phone! I tried trouble shooting and reinstalled the drivers at least a few thousand times (exaggerated number, obviously), but it just WON'T work!

Any solution to this?

yo! i just got my S2 phone...and got few things not really sure...
i) 1st page recomemded to switch off the phone during charging? anyone here doing this, coz quite difficult for me if off the phone especially day time.

ii) i like to turn off my phone during sleeping time, will this bad for my phone?

iii) i notice that the alarm would not work if i turn off my phone, luckily i still manage to wake up today... 

i enable usb debugging and I can see other folders. i dont have external sd.

i wanna ask..do you guys use any antivirus for your phones?

Recently bought a galaxy s2 G version of course, i was wondering, how come it does not seem to have the 'Background effect' display setting that lets one change the saturation to a more color accurate setting. the 3 display options are 'dynamic' 'movie' and 'standard'. i know for a fact this option is available on the non g version, but would this b an option for G users...i would be interested to know, any ideas? after spending some time with the phone i come to notice the colors don't seem accurate

2nd, prior to the s2 i was using a evo 3d, the Samsung runs a lot warmer than the evo 3d even under normal operations such as web and video...the CPU temperature ranges from 27 °C idle all the way up to 40°C when browsing the web...is this normal?
