at first i'm suspecting that you have too much games memory cached at ram there, so i ask u to try clear ur ram. orelse u can also try go to settings> application>manage applications>internet, and select "clear cache" c will solve the problem or not
actually if the internet is slow then the browser will be laggy as well

Yeah, finally I sold my G version to buy non-G version..
I got to say, I am so satisfied with the non-G version...
Playing desktop 1080p, buttery smooth like silk...
No lag or whatso ever.
Flash player 11.1 which made my G always crashed, now it plays so smooth on non-G..

The batter was okay..
And I got to say, thumbs up to non-G...

Love it..

100% agree with u...the g version does lag considerably when playing imbedded videos compared to the non G...anything 480p and above forget it, unless you play a standalone video through the default player. i just changed from an evo 3d to i9100g, the only thing that the s2 does better is the screen department. too bad none G version doesn't exist for original in Malaysia anymore
I wonder why Samsung only choose to release G only for Asia, why not release g for the western markets as well, or better yet release both models, but price then differently...with that said it still a good for if u ignore the limitations.

damn pekcek right now. phone hang and reboot again, then friendcaster stop working, lockscreen function totally gone. after off screen, when off back no need swype to unlock, directly show me home screen d. backing up apps and data to perform clean flash once more, and its already 1 hour 20 minutes and the backup still going on.

did you see how trouble some it is? the defauly task manager right now can close apps by just tapping the "exit" button. IMO, tapping is faster than swyping. and there's even a "exit all" button.

To those thinking how bad the G version is, it still beats my non-g running a custom ROM + Kernel in some aspects.

Turning on, the G version is much much faster than mine. Also waking up from a locked phone is faster in the G. I even tried putting mine into performance governer and lock the CPU to 1.2GHz, still the G version is much faster.

Not many people will have the chance to try out both side by side, but if you do, you will feel how much faster the G version is at turning on and waking up. The non-G wake-up time is a known issue that nearly no other Android phone out there has...
