As far as i know.... Aus passing grade is usualy at least 50%
in UK standard 50% is already considered 2nd Class lower while 60% considered as 2nd class upper
However, if convert 7GPA to a 4 point scale GPA .... lets say a 4/7 is only equal to 2.28/4 .....

In UK terms ... 2.28 is a ordinary PASS .. not even third class....

Furthermore, i heard taylors australia program passing grade is between 50-65% ... theres 2 grades for passing (P2, P1)....

If student score an average of P1.... most job interviewer would instantly assume hes only a "Pass" student... and whats worst is that since Malaysian employers are familiar with UK system instead of AUS, they would instantly assume this student is a 40%-49% student as in UK Pass=40%

Taylor's UniSA programme follows this grades

Well you can't really think of it like that when trying to make them equivalent. The systems are different so it'll be weird if you just try to convert them directly like that.

A lot of companies in Malaysia are actually very familiar with Australia's grading system and knows it doesn't come with honours since there's huge amounts of Australian graduates in Malaysia. If a guy averagely score only a P1, why wouldn't an employer just assume he's just a "Pass" student. In the aussie system he's barely passing.
