I would like to ask as I m currently awaiting for my Approval from the council. Meanwhile, just wanted to as I m checking with a few contractors on the quotation.

I m planning to do the following :-

1) Extend Rooms

2) Plaster Ceiling

3) Change windows and doors (some add ons, some change location)

4) Redo wiring and pipepings
Just a question. Is it true that for quotation and pricing, I wont be able to get it example, item 2 and Item 3 if my wet works are not done?

Or the contractor should be able to quote already ?

if not major reno, the difference is minor, only a few hundred diff (max).
if major, jus point to contractor, they measure for u la, easy to quote.

A competent contractor can calculate easily and tell u how much is the estimated difference,
unless u are unsure of where your wet work will end up.

If your contractor cannot give u the quote, means he is fooling and fishing, and see if he can
chop u vegetable head lo..
