I think G1M or other special plate numbers can be registered anywhere in any state....supercar owners register G1M plates in langkawi to escape tax...some of you might ask why not just register a normal langkawi plate then? That's because cars registered in Langkawi are only allowed to stay outside the island for a period of time annually (3 months?)....This applies to Langkawi registered G1M plates....but because G1M plates can be registered in Malacca, KL, Penang, Kedah etc....the place where the plates were registered can be covered up more easily...might be confusing to authorities trying to catch these tax evaders....in other words....a G1M langkawi plate might be confused as a G1M plate registered elsewhere

Langkawi only allows G1M and SUKOM to be used. i dunno about kedah plate. Thats why u see stupid numbers like G1M 2800 on a lamborghinis instead of number 8 or 1.

G1M and SUKOM can also be registered anywhere else. i didn't say can only be used in langkawi.

I lazy to explain oredi la. So many customers already bought cars to register in Langkawi, if they don't want those plates, the only options are SUKOM and G1M. cannot use wilayah or other state plates.

If u all so adamant don't believe the info then it's ok. one day when you buy super car and wanna register there go then u'll find out.
as i've said go and look at the road tax sticker next time u encounter those plates. u don't see a WWL 1 with langkawi roadtax
