QUOTE(ben3003 @ Dec 31 2011, 06:50 PM) today i test drive PE, flx se and myvi 1.3 new one.. For PE, it is comfortable, the seat is just nice, and powerful enough. BUt i dont like the car it owes lower the gear even i slightly press the pedal abit.. feel like u gonna be very gentle on the pedal.. else will sudden lower gear.. and also the persona break, got that kind of sound >< i very dont like, can fix one? Like u press brake then will got tat krukk krukk or rubbing sound.. I think is not wear and tear problem.. flx se new one also got tis kind of sound.. very annoying.. and persona back seat is really suffering.. but seems like if h-line persona the back seat is little mroe comfortable to seat in.. krukk krukk or rubbing sound is normal 1 (told by proton mechanic) myvi 1.3 same as my old myvi, except that it is less noisy and steering not bad for city driving. Din try long distance, cos around the test drive area no very long de road.. not much complain on myvi, except no boot but it is already a fact.. but myvi on bumpy uneven road not so smooth like persona, persona NVH is really best among the three.. then flx se.. the cvt need time to get use to it.. drive cvt very easy fall asleep, cos the car sound is da same lol.. no downshift or upshifting, the NVH is worst among all.. but no tyre sound la.. just campro engine sound sibeh loud.. and flx se on uneven or bumpy road have same feeling with myvi, perhaps stiffer abit the spring.. overall, i am pleased with myvi and persona.. but myvi car no proton car special sound effect.. persona alot of unexplained sound.. i guess i am more lean towards myvi.. but still dilemma on the boot space.. cos city drive only most of the time.. at Miri if wan travel, normally can only travel by air.. not much choice.. my work also not really need me drive to drive 100-200km outstation. I guess myvi se might be my choice la i am having a PE M-line, to me, this car not bad BUT it has a lot, mny mny small problemsssssss... if u have time to claim all this problem at SC, then just go ahead for this car..cos BIG and CHEAP |

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Jan 1 2012, 06:16 AM) Hmmm if u mean the braking sound like this... ic ic..thanks for your advice...then may i know whether this type of brake pad can reduce noise as what u posted in post#1130??Sorry there is no cure except for changing the whole brake system.. Overall if u are going only in town, 10km here and there it wont be a wise idea to get a PE lah.. First short distance travel really sucks fuel. Short distance driving with a lot of traffic light is not good, as PE are at its worst FC during accelerating, due to heavy car and poor low end torque. It might not be really the most convenient car to park around anywhere in the city.. But if u still prefer a car with boot u can go for Saga FLX, NVH can be improved dramatically with insulation. and u still get Lotus tuned handling.. But of course dont go race with jasondotcom, he will smoke u into the next century.. Why u never come.. Chicks by the truckload.. Drunken chicks everywhere.. Right after new year saw my first vag1na of they year after being flashed by a drunken hot chick.. Too bad if her friends were not around, I got siham to eat ady.. 2nd chance came when another girl pissed drunk was alone beside the lift.. She vomited all over the lift at gardens 6th floor, and she was so pissed drunk she didnt mind following us back.. Haiz too bad one of my friends decided to help her out nicely.. If not free siham to eat again.. Hmm for a better place i recommend Intan Matang SC in shah alam.. They are opened everyday, 9am-5.30pm. Can claim stuffs from them during weekends also.. But just the sad part is due to them being a small SC, they only keep stock for parts with common problems.. Those a bit rare cases like pipe leaking at waterpump mb have to wait for them to order parts first and come back another day to fix. LOL those are not some special stealth pads as they claim.. Its still semi performance pad with technology to keep braking noise low.. Cos semi performance pads like these are normally having a semi-metallic compound.. Which creates a lot of screeching sound when braking at slow speed.. What they call it is Bendix Metal King Titanium.. RM110-130 only excluding installation for PE. Pads are good but wear out fast.. But definitely lesser brake dust compared to OEM pads. actually i am planning of changing a new brake pad.. best form nao ceramic brake pad, bendix mental king titanium, bendix general CT, bendix STEALTH which 1 better? my aim is to reduce the brake noise as posted by ZenGTMM and has a better brake performance.. |
