normal i would say...... mine also has similar problem... mileage 100k d once in a blue moon will have this problem.. "crank, then engine started, few seconds later, engine die off, den start for second time the engine seems abit unstable and vibrating"...then the following cranking, no problem... engine smooth and works normally.. no idea what is dat.... its not spark plug =)..

just simple engine oil change will do...

let me tell you what you need to change for future services... (as for me...la)...whether you want to follow my way its purely up to you...haha

1k,5k,10k, 15k- engine oil & oil filter change ONLY! *10K i did change air filter...so up to you guys..=)

20k,- engine oil, oil filter, air filter , spark plug & automatic fluid (ATF Fluid) *around 200-300 will do

25k-engine oil & oil filter *if you using semi-synthetic...if fully synthetic then skip this service **

30k- engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug & coolant (using caltex long life coolant..way long lasting and better cooling capabilities compare to stock proton green ones).. heavy footed all the way to genting..didnt encounter any temperature increment...

35k-engine oil & oil filter *if you using semi-synthetic...if fully synthetic then skip this service **

40k- engine oil, oil filter, air filter , spark plug & automatic fluid (ATF Fluid)

50k- basic oil change and checkings

60k- engine oil, oil filter, air filter , spark plug & automatic fluid (ATF Fluid) * this round i used bosch platinum plugs..so expected to be changed at 90k

70k- engine oil, oil filter, air filter, & coolant caltex

80k-engine oil, TIMING BELT & PULLEY BELTS, Front ABSOBER OEM, ***

90k- 95k engine oil,spark plugs & ATF Fluid auto

and the current mileage nw 109k....once you know what to change..just do it....=)

as for those staying nearby KL, puchong,subang can give a try at famous klang lama tire shop as their alignment & balancing is one of the best comparing others i been to... they dont even ask me to change camber,bla bla bla.... till date im still using factory nut and able to adjust based on my requirement...

*parts so far i had changed & add on - brake pads, timing belts, front absorber, ultra racing strut bars, right rear brake light blown once *the rest still working frm day 1 and 2 sets of tires so far.... overall everything still pretty solid and suspension still quiet even when going trough uneven roads/potholes most of the time......quite a good car overall throughout 4.5 years plus condition..

and maybe you guys can try out caltex long life coolant as it last longer and i didnt not have any tempreture issue even i rev 4000-6000rpm to genting and occasionally highspeeds like 140-160km like long trips to ipoh or penang...
