Maybe the ECU cut off the fan while you rev to genting..
I don't have temp problem as I FNF since I'm using persona 2years back..
Until recently on highway, I guess the ECU auto cut off the fan because while travelling fast and there was enough air to go thru the radiator and cool down the radiator..
PE got two fan ma.. Besides PE got cool down function while turn off the car..
Mine tarak.. sad.gif
Hmmm.. doesn't happen while driving on city..

Btw, I just change my car key alarm battery cost me RM 15 doh.gif
Checked my battery using digital tester showing 100% battery health brows.gif
*
yup. city no. but sometimes when revving a lot, it does not activate the fan. then when i slowed down to idle the fan just keep running till the engine is less hot.
so cheap??

can i ask wat happen if the key went into the washing machine??

Then should have asked them to repaint it again.. Since the finishing is not good..
Now government law states u dont need to put money for downpayment.. So just go to that branch cancel it, take back whatever u paid for then go to another branch and buy..
Me..
Yeah.. It uses ultrasound mah..
LOL ur car u can install turbo timer mah..
did u check ur car battery when the engine is off?
Ur keys become cleaner.. hehe.. MB water could have entered and spoilt the board inside.. But the seal is so tight i would doubt that.
*
hmm...i tot i spoilt it after bumping something. lol..
is not mine. hahaha~~is my relative saga fl. so when take out the light is on till the battery flat. and the screw just cannot be opened. so tight. i wonder.

QUOTE(KKW @ Jan 7 2012, 05:32 PM)

i am in JB wor. i try to look and see.

QUOTE(KKW @ Jan 8 2012, 01:17 AM)
I travel around 160km/h all the way lo..
I stop at rest area so I turn off the engine..
When I get back my car I put my key to ignition mode..
Then I saw my temp almost 120c liao..
I start engine the fan running then the temp drop until back to normal temp..
I guess mine not PE so the fan can't run after I turn off the engine so can't cool down the radiator and the engine hmm.gif
Like this better take XM2 jor lo.. RM 280/pcs
*
i see. i din experience that yet. i drive from melaka to jb also 160-180. but then, when i stopped, i think i just stopped straight. maybe the temperature is at 120 without the engine running but below 90 when the engine is stopped XD
but xandras dun recommend going for michelin. and...is too expensive.

You mean you din stop at rest area..
Just continue until your reach JB?
Usually I don't stop but that time sleepy..
That's why I stop and take a rest.. tongue.gif
Btw, If not mistaken xandras got problem with Michelin XM1 and I agree with him.. XM1 is not a good tyre
On XM1, once alignment/chamber lari confirm got uneven thread  doh.gif
On XM2, now my alignment lari already but the still flat and cantik.. smile.gif
FYI, CC5 on my vios just travel for 10k mileage 50% gone already.. No hard breaking, no FNF, normal driving  shakehead.gif
*
its the right way to stop when u feel sleepy.
yup. its ok lah~~not far for distance. stable and quiet persona rclxm9.gif
furthest driving without stop is from JB to ipoh. but forced to stop to pump petrol after 494km ==" such bad fc.
but using stock NCT5 since i bought the car. so its quite noisy now. chamber i think all four lari. all four tyre makan inside. i do like michelin for its reputation. but is getting pricier which i think not worth edi. i prefer decent price with decent threadwear. of coz traction higher better.

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Jan 8 2012, 02:21 AM)
lol.. Same interest sharing TT..  rclxms.gif
The XM1 tire compound is like having a harder shoulder and softer middle thread..
So when the tire start to wear a bit..The inner wall starts to wear out faster and causes the alignment and camber to run..
Anybody got stomach ache? haha
*
so the achilles tyre is a cheap performance tyre which will become even noisier than my NCT5 ?? i saw some review say noise is ridiculuos after certain kms. any recommendation??

Added on January 8, 2012, 2:52 ambtw, if averaging RM0.17/km fc, i used up RM10k since the day i got my car.

LOL dont.. Thats the worst thing.. Tire shops will normally recommend tires that they can have the best margin of profit from.. Its the basis of business..

Basically as a easy guide read the tire sidewalls..
See for Traction - normally AA rating is the best.. A also is still acceptable..
Treadwear - the higher the better, that means how long can ur tire last..
*
hmm...i tot of that too. thats why i prefer to know which people think is better XD
is quite hard to find cheap tire with AA traction rating. but Achilles ATR sport get it.
yokohama is nice, but the tyre shop says it wears out faster. dun know whether is true.
i prefer to have balance in noise, grip and last longer. at least must be better than my this stock tyre lah. hahaha~~

How much ur budget? If ok i can straight recommend u take Falken Ziex 912.. Shd be around RM210 a tire.
*
hows the grip in wet?? i get a lot of lost of grip but not control with current tyre. so basically i am in love with the lotus handling. budget of coz lower the better. no people want to throw their money mah~~

Hmmm Falken Ziex 912 is good.. If u really want the ultimate best tire for wet grip then Toyo Proxes T1-R it is..  But T1R dont last long.. and the price is @.@.

Achilles ATR Sport also very good.. AA traction rating and 400 treadwear.. See which u can get at a lower price then just grab it lah..
*
yah~~but the fact that ATR sport is a performance tire still make me wonder how the noise will be like after a while. maybe i will consider the Ziex 912. any other options like dunlop/bridgestone?? the more choice, the easier to find XD
no need ultimate lah. not like i am going to drift racing in the rain. as long as i can cut thru the water confidently then ok edi XD

haha.. But this one go pub with a few friends and chill.. Too bad they are not the friends with benefit type..
Hmm road noise Ziex 912 is quite good.. low noise tire.. Normally choosing a tire go for popular models, so the prices are cheaper due to competition.. Other brands I dont really know other tires that are cheaper than the 912 with similar performance.
*
all those reviews says that 912 is too soft and wear out quickly. is it true??

Hmmm.. The tires will be able to last u at least a nice 40-50k km b4 needing to change.. Soft compound tires are quieter throughout the tire life.. But if u always fnf then only it will wear off faster than normal.. If u are mostly driving in a normal way then tires shd last u long and good..
*
oic. so the treadwear will be around the same like my current one. Then nice. i should go survey it. XD

LOL sell car to get a new car.. Damn u will lose damn lot..
But dont be sad.. I know a fella who got the Myvi Lagi best brand new from the showroom.. Just exit the showroom only go bang a tiang lampu..THe front damaged quite badly, straightaway u turn go back repair.. hahahaha..
Wah.. rich  guy spotted.. hehe.. how much u bought and kena?
Hmm if that is so then u drive quite conservatively..
Treadwear determines how fast the tire thread wears out.. If u compare a tire treadwear of 400 vs 200.. then the 400 wear is expected to last twice the distance of 200.. but u know lah the driving conditions and different road also will affect the life.. For example like softer compound tires like Toyo Proxes T1-R and Ziex 912 technically will last longer than NCT5.. But if u drive hard and furious all the time.. A lot of hard braking etc, the life of those tire surely will be lesser than 59k.
hmm those prawn sites mostly supply rmvb..
A lot loh.. up to 500GB..
Hmm interesting.. KK waiting for it.. smile.gif Whats the difference between normal Permanon?
Hmm u cant just change the glass alone. have to change the whole unit together except the bulb..
*
yah~~i do fnf, but i dont do it so often. coz its like no point. unless there are little traffic or someone to run with. always see ppl cut left cut right when a lot of traffic. in the end of the day, just beside me =="
maybe just before change tyre go try hard braking to see how good the brake work XD i take ur advice and go look for ziex 912. see if there is any shop selling.
