I have yet to change my power steering fluid and now I am at 76K. Is this ok? Coz the SC I usually go also did not mention anything about power steering fluid replacement. The brake fluid I changed at 40K last time, and it was not even a total flush. They just syphon the fluid from the reservoir in the engine bay.
Hmmm 76k.. The normal change interval is 40k.. So 80k u need to change the fluid ady.. Normally a change of oil will suffice, no need to have total flush.. A total flush is only needed when there is contaminants or water in the reservoir.. Or when the oil seems like too thick ady..

Damn.. Viva so powerful meh?
I drive 170km/h still can't chase viva

Yeah damn powerful.. Stock Viva to speed is 170kmh.. Then u add on a spoiler the car is actually quite stable in a straight line..
I drive Viva when im back in JB.. acceleration above 100kmh is slow lah.. BUt 170kmh is very achievable.. Can touch it easily everytime.
Somemore the car body very light.. Very easy to accelerate..

Hi,
I might be a proton persona owner.
Urgent question and enquiry that need your help and suggestion.
Can we change manual persona to auto (CVT) transmission?
My location at Penang. How much it will cost?
Nope u cant.. Too much things involve and the ECU dont have to mapping to support the proper gear change..
U might as well wait for another 2 more mths for the new P3-21A from Proton to come out.. CVT gearbox with 1.6CFE engine most likely..

Don't worry, just change the PS fluid when u change your timing belt.. Won't cause u any problem.. As for your brake fluid, if u drain everything out, then put new fluid in, maybe around 4 to 5 litres needed to properly bleed the system..
So, a more effective way is to suck all the fluid in your reservoir there until dry.. Pump your brake a few times just to make sure in the master cylinder there also clear, pour in new fluid, then bleed the system as usual until u can see the new clearer fluid.. Apply same steps to all brake systems on 4 wheels.. By doing this, the most u need will be around 1.5 - 2.0 litres of brake fluid only..
Yes, definitely can change.. U got that paper with Agong's picture on top, everything also can.. But let see it this way, a brand new Invecs-II gearbox is RM13k at the SC.. A brand new Perdana V6's gbox is RM17k.. A brand new Savvy's AMT gbox is RM20k.. But CVT gbox were not yet made available at the SC right now, but definitely it gonna cost higher.. So, if u can afford such amount of money to transplant a gbox, keep that money, go & buy a 6-speed Forte instead..
But u dont get Lotus Handling with a Forte.
