1. How do I change the sms notification ringtone to another longer and louder ringtone without rooting? Volume already set to the highest.
2. What is the thinest case available? Unfortunately there is no 'UltraSkin' from Ultra-Case for the Galaxy Note.
3. How do I read messages (sms) exported to my pc via Kies? The file extension is '.sme'.

I could syn my S Planner to Outlook Calender the first time I install Samsung Kies. But when I restart my PC it doesn't work and hangs at 'Preparing to syn GT-N7000 Schedule...40%'.
I have uninstall and reinstall Smasung Kies but the same problem exist.
Unfortunately Kies Air doesn't have the function to syn 'S Planner' with 'Outlook Calender'.
Read that I can use Companionlink software but that costs USD49.55
Any advice?

I cannot connect to Samsung Kies. Get the message ' Error. Cannot start service on the device. Please disconnect then reconnect device. Eventhough I reconnect, uninstall and reinstall Kies (latestest version dated today) and perform the 'Trouble shoot connection error', all these steps didn't work. I can see Portable Device - GT N7000 Mobile Phone in 'Computer' on my PC. On the Galaxy Note screen it is displayed ' charging'.
Can anyone help?

QUOTE(cwtien @ Jan 4 2012, 04:45 PM) Reboot your phone and try again. I think there's an android service that's stuck at "starting". I had this before. Thanks. It worked. Just 'power off' and on again.
