It work on every version of windows 7, everyone could try though, this patch merely unlock the OS to use more than 3.25GB of ram, your OS is still 32bit, 32bit program still unable use more than 2GB of ram.
Its just a temporary fix.

And yes some ppl may experience stuck at boot screen cause some hardware driver will have problem, or even BSOD with this 4GB ram patch.

No, we see 1.16G only, run something memory hungry to show your OS can truly utilize more than 3.25G of ram.
Though windows will annoy you with some "low memory" message as soon as the ram utilization near 80% iirc.
