my budgets around or below rm2k, to replace my old and retired Toshiba. Requirements just for normal usage, non high spec gaming. Multitasking, i used to 'hear' drama(HK) while surfing internet, or music and microsoft office/excel and etc during internet.

Sony Vaio VPCEG26EG/W, sounds to be good in build quality, awesome looking but with the lowest spec among 3, anyhow it comes with a free gift cybershot d.camera which i don have 1. RM2099

Yes graphic card is not that important for me since i don play latest or high spec games so im more keen on the Vaio, but i wondering how good is the built in intel graphic card, sufficient to play high def like over 1GB movie with smooth running? how is i5 better than i3? is i3 sufficient to run smooth in dota with 8 players? sorry for my noob questions ya, hope sifus here could help.

All 3 are good enough to play high definition movies without lags
So its all down to which laptop you like the most~
Personally I don't really like the squarish-squarish patterns on the Vaio

asus A43SV around 2k also..

RN2.1k to be precise, better specs than the ones mentioned above, but then TS doesn't really need the additional GPU power also

asus got 2 yrs warranty. GPU needly for watch better movie also.

well first one might be hard to get in malaysia unless u get it tru ebay / online websites...

2nd one a4tech dunno whether this model available in malaysia but no harm asking... how ever u do need the supplied mousepad to run the mouse u know... =D

i prefer 1st 1.. can use solar concept apply at mouse. jan i will b free. c can diy a not.

Already replied. Hope you can decide which best for you.

With Intel HD3000 you will get framedrops in Dota when intense team fight going on.. other than that its smooth@60fps.

dun buy sony vaio.. over-rated!

Sony laptops are just an 'Apple' in Windows-world.

in my personal opinion, if you use a fancy Sony Vaio in public places like starbuck etc, you'd mostly be by girls. I dont know why, lots of my girl friends always talk talk about Vaio. So if you like it, just get it. Since you have said that you dont really play games, just for movie-watching, the integrated Intel graphic can do the job well enough.

But the Samsung one on the other hand, apart from the spec-talking, has nicer exterior. Since you have listed down all these three models, now i believe it's up to you then.

i very scared of sony laptop liao...

last time my bro bought one ( around RM5-7k plus ) and it always sick ( i mean always got problem ) and have to send to hospital ( service centre ) for check ups / diagnosis / surgery... and never recover properly...

so till now.. i AVOID sony laptop like allergy liaooo

this is a true story... dont believe me then it's alright...

ya a lot issue but the issue won't lost to HP & acer. sony design & built of quality material is different so they r expensive. their laptop is failure even this year or next year they r still losing $$!
