after reading a bit bout the OTA update, decided not to stay with stock. Getting the Brainmaster's one instead. Any other ICS roms that are stable that you guys can recommend?
For those who use Brainmaster's ICS what does this means? QUOTE Further Instructions: How about custom Kernel? How do i install that? Want to install GlaDOS 2.2 but there's 2 versions.App drawer is sluggish and has lags, not like the tweaked CM9 Trebuchet App drawer. Besides, the default heapsize is too big - 128 MB, for our device. I didn't change it, because I wanted to keep the ROM as stock as possible. I recommend to everyone to make use of the new settings for the Background apps: Settings > Developer options > Background process limit > At most 4 processes (Need to be set on every reboot!) Also don't forget to Force the GPU Rendering in the same Developer Options. QUOTE Download: BFS version http://www.multiupload.com/SS369B5V62 CFS version http://www.multiupload.com/MD5SY82YLY |

Boot into recovery, and install zip from SD card.
Just did a benchmark. On nexus Beam, i just got a score of 1250 as opposed to 2750 on 2.3 Oxygen. This post has been edited by TAGreptiles: Dec 22 2011, 12:08 PM |

Well the GLaDOS kernel is one of the recommended kernels for Nexus Beam. Don't see why it won't work. Will try tonight.

QUOTE(dongqh608 @ Dec 23 2011, 10:16 AM) Currently running the latest Nexus Beam with GLaDOS 2.3 Kernel. I'm experiencing screen flash when i'm locking the screen, and just now random crash + reboot when i was playing with the face unlock settings. Battery life is not as good as Oxygen + stock kernel. Any more kernel + ROM combo you all can recommend? |

Here're some stats from my phone.
![]() Using AOSP+ with Matrix v13 CFS Kernel. More stable for me compared to Brainmaster, and Nexus Beam. Battery life with 3G always on, Facebook, Waze GPS randomly here and there. Air penguin as well. |

Speaking about this, sometimes, my Signal indicator will turn white. At places with full reception. Just like it turn for no good reason at all. Anyone experienced this before? |

QUOTE(BlackGold @ Jan 10 2012, 10:31 AM) just updated to ics..but now my phone giving me random hang and look likely caused by not enough ram..anyone know why? What rom you use?I had this problem before. Turns out that my NS don't like the minimum 100mhz core speed after i flashed to AOSP+. Changed it to 400mhz and its running stable. Great battery life too. |

QUOTE(ladygagafanz @ Feb 9 2012, 11:04 AM) speaking of G+, sometimes my pics are automatically upload to G+. Is it cause by certain app or other ppl have the same as mine? What picture you take with your NS? Anyways guys, CM9 2.0 is stable for day to day use or not? I'm still stuck on AOSP+. Lazy to update to CNA. But rock stable. So i'll keep using it for now.
