Damn, that sucks!

Now i'm on 2.3.3, rooted.  can't upgrade to any latest firmware.

still not upgrading yet.. because dont know how .. afraid sumore to do on my own.. need a guide or help ...

alrite, that's what im gonna do later.. read before proceed    .. worst come to worst, just seek for help    ...

hi guys. I bought 3 units of Galaxy Nexus S (local Maxis/Samsung sets) 3 days ago. Got a problem with 2. See, all 3 of them came with stock 2.3.3. I powered on all 3 units and connect them to my WiFi network. 1 unit immediately ask me to update the device to 2.3.6, reboot, and the very next day, a message saying a new update (ICS) is available. The other 2, no such luck. Still on 2.3.3 until today. So I have 1 unit running stock ICS, 2 units running 2.3.3 GB. What do you guys think? Why wont the 2 units update, even to 2.3.6?

anyway im thinking bout going straight to ICS. so if i download this (the bolded one):

Android 2.3.3 (Build GRI54/XXKB3 Radio/KA3 Bootloader)
2.3.3 (GRI54) -> 2.3.4
2.3.3 (GRI54) -> 2.3.6
2.3.3 (GRI54) -> 4.0.3

it should be safe ya?

i just got mine. 2nd hand from a very good user/seller.

this device already been rooted and using 2.3.7 rom.

he also gave advice to learn how to update the rom weekly because this rom might have bug.

im a first time android user. can someone help me with the steps to update the rom?

No one can offer help with flashing kernels?

Matr1x and Glados didn't work well with my phone. Not sure why... Even with default kernel setting it will reboot the phone after couple of hours.

There is something new inside this ICS 3.0 kernel. On GB kernel, both worked flawlessly.
