Same here, just got the car yesterday and sometimes can smell like sumthing burning, but check engine temperature is normal at 5 bar, maybe because the brake pad quality?
The issue about smell of petrol inside cabin after fill up i think is normal to all proton car, my neo also has this issue and until now no problem occur related to that

Hmm, if not mistaken is 7 bars

Mine got this week, and its not using the GT Radial but i think still its the cheap one they using now
will confirm it later

Oh...already check again today, it was actually at 3rd bar


The tyre written Champiro BAX2...i thought different from GT Radial but actually the same...lol

Anyway, this engine pair up with the CVT really saves fuel, compare to my 4G18p and 1.6 campro alot of difference

Not sure, but according to exora club, SC say it will void warranty

Guys, just now my hand itchy so I update the GPS map which is A1000HD Lokatoo
After I update, it need to be activated. But the problem come when I couldnt activate the GPS because "invalid mapset ID"
I dont know why, but I already follow the instruction given and follow the mapset ID shown on the GPS unit but still cannot get the activate key from lokatoo website

Any idea why?

Mind to share how you do it?

how to activate? online activate form can only fit 13 characters but mine 17 weih

Check your battery connector, make sure is tight
How was the temperature tat time?

Checked at official exora forum, got two possibilities:
1) battery connector loose
2) crank sensor kong

Mostly because of number 1, just check your connector make sure is tight, no harm done trying

Yeap, ask your SA if he/she already tighten it and if can you open the hood and check yourself to double confirm

It is not Proton problem entirely...it is the SA "tidak apa" attitude
They purposely loose the connector so that the battery will not discharge when in store, but they forget to tighten it back when handling to customer

Yesterday morning, i emergency brake at LDP and then the abs indicator blinking and stop after i release the brake...is that show the abs working perfectly or got problem?

Khatam the manual book two times already xD
Only mention when want to start it will test the abs and the abs light indicator will on and if the abs fail, it will on all the way

My CFE bold, good power, comfort in ride n handling
Rear seats can fold down and can even baring on top of it because flat, not all mpv can do this
Handful when balik kampung but not enough room to sleep
Aircond really cold, even set to low

Problems of my 2 weeks bold
- Engine died suddenly (solved by tightening the battery connector)
- Aircond sumtime give out funny smell
- Always make me want to press the pedal more

They will never fit the Mivec in the Exora, I am sure about this

Hopefully your EB will be okay as soon as possible
So far my EB dont have that problem. yet.

3 weeks of owning EB

Pros :
Good damn pickup
FC like a 1.8 but with 2.0 power
It is so stable during highspeed drive and wind noise is acceptable at 150km/h
Spacious interior and doesnt look cheap
Aircon for every row! ( located at the side for safety)
Good stopping distance
"Garang" looks
Reminds the driver if the seat belt is not fasten and auto lock after 20km/h ( this is useful for me at least)
10 000km service interval
60 000km for cvt oil change
so far no rattling sound

Cons :
One way valve problem (the first batch mostly have this problem, mine still okay)
Aircon sumtime give funny funny smell ( i have this problem, but some other dont have)
Oil control valve ( very few owner have this problem, SC has rectify and change them in less than hour. )
Jerk like manual kancil at low speed during deceleration ( <10km/h ) * it just cvt behavior but it may annoy the owner
Reverse camera not functioning after hit big pothole ( bring to SC and they will tighten the connection)

Overall it is a worth MPV to buy under RM100k
Go test drive and decide

I dont know the detail but you can listen the sound when they start the engine. Mostly occur for the first badge EB
If got this problem then u will have send to SC and wait for a week the most for them to fix it
