Usually when a player is to become a legend, noone actually says it..

And our team do have lots of flaws, easily exploited. Be it unable to link up play to score up front, be it no cohesion in defence, or a lack of cover from the midfield, you guys can see clearly that Fergie is certainly putting players out of position;

Park in central midfield, Valencia right back, Rooney midfield, just to name a few, not to mention our overly changing midfield.

Yes we do have our share of injuries, but the players should know what their role is, not getting changed week in week out.

Certainly you don't see many teams rotating WITH players that aren't in their actual positions. For instance; take in our blue neighbours. Silva aint playing good? Take him out play, Nasri in. Liv - Charlie Adam can't deliver telling passes? Gerrard/ Henderson is in.

We do not have that player with the ability to open up defences; Carrick is dropping too deep as of late, Anderson looks lost on the field, Giggs is lagging behind the youngsters, Park isn't that type of a player to thread passes, again cohesion isn't there.

Another point to ponder is that we do not have a leader in the ranks, none to grab OUR players by the neck as how Keane would do before.

The ones need reinforcing is in the midfield; not saying that a single player would do the trick, but put our line up against most teams who are at the top of the league, currently.

They all have good central midfielders who aren't exactly big names, but certainly gets the job done - threading passes, stopping attackers ; AC Milan - Van Bommel and Kevin Prince Boateng , Inter Milan - Wesley Sneijder & Thiago Motta , Bayern Munich - Schweinsteiger & Muller , Juventus - Marchisio & Andrea Pirlo

All of which who certainly pose a threat to many defences without even starting the game.

We HAD that kind of a calibre - Giggs, Beckham, Keane, Scholes, Butt. All of which other teams feared, and even our magic three after those - Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo.

But for now, teams come up to Old Trafford thinking they can beat us, that fear in them has surely been minimized, if not gone.

Our defence was once a huge Wall of China - Rio & Vidic. But injuries and age has crept up to them.. and Jones - Evans - Smalling should be played where they want to . Smalling has said he preferred centre of defence, and Jones is somewhat another Vidic- fearless in winning headers, though very inexperienced.

Yes, I do appreciate having to mold youngsters, but to rate Anderson highly, not in my books. Optimism is also held well in my philosophy, but not to say the future is bleak, BUT the team must have a pivot to hold on to, in case something like this happens. A leader.

And Ronaldo was exceptional. And so was Giggs, Beckham and Scholes. We've been given alot of play time for Anderson, and in my opinion, he does not look like a world class beater. I certainly hope I am wrong.

I'm just merely voicing my opinions, while being optimistic and future looking is good, but having beaten 6-1,3-0,3-2 by names which we usually brush off, all in one season, there must be something wrong right? I'm just pointing out the midfield isn't creative + strong enough to hold against sides, not just powerful sides, but those which are tricky. To win against the big teams you have to outwit them, to win against the smaller ones you just have to outmuscle them.
