Jones=Hargreaves replacement? Hoho.
If he can improve further his passing game and become more involved in the build up play, he's gonna be one good box to box midfielder. He's doing a very good job considering he's a defender, but I wouldn't put him ahead of Ando, Carrick and Cleverley once they're back. Wonder what SAF have in mind for him in the future. |

Negrito. He said that right?
Or is that somehow pushed aside since you know, it won't help him? Funny how Liverpool are blaming it all on Evra. Classless. Can't blame them for going mental over the decision. One man team. There goes their hope of getting that Europa League spot unless Carroll steps up. Hoofball..
Play the usual side tonite. Hope Jones will impress again playing in the middle of the field. Added on December 21, 2011, 4:55 pmDeluded, can't read and understand.. It's hopeless trying to talk with them. This post has been edited by Wan: Dec 21 2011, 04:55 PM |

Fulham have about 20 players back each time. Very hard to get through. They defend really well. And they're fast.. annoying.

viNcee.. victims. Always play that card them.
Kenny - "Whoever is the guilty party - the person who said it or the accuser - [should] get their due punishment." Sing a different tune now. And I don't understand why the accuser=Evra should get the punishment, since you know Suarez admit it himself he calls him 'negrito'. Easy to understand why Evra was mad. |

QUOTE(dlct87 @ Dec 22 2011, 04:51 AM) that was one of the best first half performance from United Valencia seems to have found back his confidence to bulldoze through. And Nani have got his form back. Let's hope Young will do the same as well. Not really that effective out on the left lately. Hopefully Rooney scores to build up his confidence and keep that streak going.clamping down all over the field, and Nani+Valencia on the right is just brutal for Fulham |

QUOTE(fssen @ Dec 22 2011, 06:04 AM) incredible goal by rooney, could see that he was frustrated that he missed 2 earlier chances but managed to redeem himself. nani as usual was our MOTM today, great vision and great header. anyways, who else agrees that lindegaard should be our no. 1? not dismissing de gea but i think anders is better in experience as well as his other gk skills In terms of playing experience, they are about on par. Anders only started playing regularly at the same time almost as De Gea started his career as first choice for A.Madrid. The only experience he has over De Gea is that he's older but De Gea played in a tougher league arguably. No doubt that Lindegaard is very good, that's why SAF is giving him plenty of games for a backup GK. We need him to stay sharp since you never know what might happen knowing our luck with injuries(two tonight!). He needs that experience anyways considering he doesn't have that much experience himself, at the top level especially. But should anything happen to De Gea(form, injuries, extended break etc), we know we have a very good #2 who could have been the #1 himself. If it stays like this, I can't see him staying for long. He's too good to be our #2. Unfortunately for him we have De Gea as our #1 and it won't change anytime soon considering how good he's been. He's not perfect, but we know that considering how young he is. Seeing how young he is, and he's already this good, it's best that we just stick with him for him to grow into the side. He's already good, and we're expecting him to improve further in terms of his experience(27+ only they are in their prime, and he's only 21?), ability and how comfortable he is with the team and vice versa. It will only get better from here on out. But there will be a few bumps here and there. Added on December 22, 2011, 6:29 am QUOTE Sir Alex: "No comment" about Luis Suarez disciplinary outcome. "We've kept quiet all along." Added on December 22, 2011, 6:30 am QUOTE SAF: "Phil Jones had an elbow to his jaw and will for X-rays. He is a concern. How do they come to the conclusion that Evra is to blame in all of this and he lied but their Saint Suarez already admits that he said the 'negrito' word to Evra, multiple times?
Added on December 24, 2011, 6:58 amhttp://www.glory-glory.co.uk/viewtopic.php...56617&start=320 Arsenal, Spurs, Sunderland.. they all think they're a joke. This guy there made a good point. QUOTE(Raziel) Liverpool is really bringing this down on themselves, whoever their advisors are, they seem to be complete morons. If the scenario is (as seems to be widely reported) Suarez called Evra something that is not offensive in his world/culture, then they should have simply responded by - Make a statement that Suarez made a mistake by cultural misunderstanding - Have Suarez publicly apologise to Evra and public in general, accepting it's different in England and he needs to set an example - Have the club/Suarez donate some money to anti-racism programs If he did that, no way he would have even got a more than a 3 game ban. By saying the FA doesn't have evidence, insulting/accusing the victim, and making no acknowledgement that regardless of cultural background you cannot refer/wind up opponents by refering to their race/ethnic background they come off as out of touch and potentially racist themselves and put the FA in a position where any reduction of the ban will make it look like they were simply intimidated by Liverpool. Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson insists Glazers will dig deep in transfer window
QUOTE 7:00PM GMT 25 Dec 2011 Most of the fans don't trust Carrick, but SAF sure does. His role in the team have been very underrated among the fans. Sure he's not fancy, but when in form he's very important for the team although we have to wait till near mid season for that to happen. With Cleverley coming through and Ando about to make that 'step' you would understand why SAF kept quiet and not just buying for the sake of buying. If for whatever reasons we can't get our top target(s), there's no reason to just buy any good players around.The United manager, whose team face Wigan at home, is attempting to soften the impact of an injury crisis in his midfield, which has seen Anderson, Tom Cleverley and Darren Fletcher all sidelined with long-term problems. The Glazers have been the target of criticism for a perceived lack of financial support for Ferguson in the market, but the Scot is adamant they will back him if he asks for funds. “If a really top-class player became available, then we would go for him,” he said. “But let me reiterate, contrary to what some people seem to be fixated about, money for a transfer is not a problem if I deem it necessary. “I will not be swayed by the endless tweets and blogs urging the club to get busy in the transfer market next month. But I will certainly listen. I am too long in the tooth to resist new ideas simply out of prejudice and stubbornness.” Ferguson also took a swipe at rivals Manchester City, warning their vast financial resources are no guarantee of silverware. “Yes, money can buy success, as we saw when Chelsea suddenly became cash rich and we are witnessing a similar surge by Manchester City under their wealthy owners,” Ferguson added. “Their transfer clout has taken them to the top of the league and they are favourites to win the title. But while recruiting some of the world’s leading players can lift you into contention for honours, it doesn’t necessarily take you all the way, as I hope we will be able to demonstrate before the end of the season as other factors come into play.” With his midfield so stretched, Ferguson has challenged Michael Carrick to become a “pivotal” figure for the club and fill the void left by Paul Scholes’s retirement. Ferguson has started Carrick in each of United’s last six league games and he scored his first goal in 70 appearances during the 2-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers last Sunday. “We have two experienced players playing right at their peak now – Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick,” Ferguson said. “Rio’s form in the last few weeks has been absolutely fantastic, but Michael has been one of our best players. He’s been instrumental in what’s happening to the team at the moment and he has grabbed the nettle – there’s no question about that. “In some ways, he’s maybe seen the departure of Paul Scholes as his opportunity to be the main man in midfield. But I think it’s time that Michael became the pivotal player of our team. “He’s a laid-back character – quiet and unassuming – but in different periods during his time here, he’s shown his quality. Now is the time for him to start a long period of dominating the centre of midfield like he has in the last few weeks.” Ferguson also insists Ryan Giggs can maintain his remarkable career for at least another season at the highest level. “I think Ryan can play another year,” Ferguson said. “There’s no evidence at this moment in time that his energy, stamina or speed are decreasing. In fact, they’re exactly the same as the last two or three years. It’s amazing. It all depends on what Ryan thinks about his future, too.” In the meantime, Giggs will equal Bobby Charlton’s all-time club record of 756 starts if he begins the match against Wigan. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...fer-window.html |
