I'm pretty sure "I never see you troll them" is implying I'm actually trolling the community here. Thats an insult in my books.

I understand how much Scholes is to you guys but I'm just saying bringing Scholes out after 230 days not playing is just weird and it's clearly sending a signal to the press that SAF wont be spending on a midfielder, which I think he should. "Tired legs" = Scholes himself admitted last year his legs are gone.
*
so you are pretty much suggesting that SAF shouldn't let Scholes come out of retirement even if he himself wants to?

It's a good mentality what. They fought very well IMO. I'd say something similar to avoid frustration.

had the reverse happened today.
it was a game of two halves really today.
city played really well wit 10 men in the 2nd half.

the weird thing is

Nani didnt react at all as he is the one who make contact with Kompany
*
yeah, maybe he didnt actually get tackled so he'd rather focus on getting the ball back...still doesnt take away the fact that it was a dangerous tackle

somehow we took our foot off the pedal although this was a very good chance to stump them. surely with a man advantage plus our quality we could have controlled the game. and city jsut took advantage of it.

as my peer posted below.

And calling someone cheapskate is a suggestive opinion in ur books?

Sir Alex actually already made it clear that he wont be signing. No need for signals or whatsoever. Scholes clearly wasn't unfit in this game. Other than that one particular mistake, he was doing fine.

First of all, is not that after he retired and just stay at home and be with family and after 230 days, suddenly said want come back play. He still will train with the team to tutor/inspire the youngsters

Secondly, Ferguson already said that he will not make any transfer during Jan window

Thirdly like wat mhyug, spending also need to understand the current transfer market situation. As we all know, the market price is rocket way higher and now buy a players at least 15m, not yet consider he can adapt into our style or not. If compare to new signing with Scholes come back, i take Scholes anytime even though he can't play week in week out

good for himself only, avoid frustration by being delusional. he could have said we lost today but proud of the team spirit etc, no idea how that relates to anything of a win in any form

not butthurt tho, juz found it funny

Well Scholes should be used as a stop-gap and cover for the midfield while waiting for others to be fit...from certain POV it looks like we're desperate but for me it looks like a good move, and perhaps shows SAF's intent to wait until the youngsters are fully ready. If we buy someone it can affect team play, I think.

During the game there is one time he shoots straight to the GK I was hoping that he scored laugh.gif

SAF : No signings in January ...

An hour before kick off ..

Scholes : I want to come out of retirement ...

SAF : Scholes is on bench ..

SAF & Scholes : Problem? *trollface*

The fact that it was announced only less that an hour before the game already suggested that it wasn't a desperate move.

he wanted to play himself.
class is permanent..quality is permanent even after 200 no competitive football.
he can still play home games against lesser teams where we have much of the possession. i'm mroe happy to see scholes in our shirt than messi..yeah someone said it jz now but call me an idiot but that's how i feel
