QUOTE(Roland San @ Dec 19 2011, 02:21 PM) 10 bucks for a little Tiger tank, no wonder it's out of stock. Glad I got mine early. Took it apart to file off sprue leftovers, now thinking of weathering it a bit... Yeah... it's a Tiger tank and it's just under RM10. Just found out today while browsing this part of the forum Not going to collect whole thing. I'm only interested in the WW2 tanks. Modern armor doesn't interest me. |

My T-55A's barrel is straight but the sprayed cross is a bit faded on the top and scuffed a bit on the right side. The tracks looks like bitten a little bit by a micro-sized mouse. Apart from that, shud be ok for this sort of range.

QUOTE(FunkyMonkiBaby @ Dec 19 2011, 04:12 PM) GUys, does the model selection offered to Msian market same as UK? Cuz I dun see their issue 3 offering the T-55 tank. Its another model. I'm just guessing it should be the same in terms of tanks but which order, that might be different. I did a quick reference to what Tiger I posted the link. This post has been edited by aquilaTE: Dec 19 2011, 04:18 PM |

Yup... it seems the 2nd & 3rd tanks are different from the UK issues. The 4th issue for both countries are the same with the Jagdpanther.
I still feel sore not knowing and getting the first two tanks |

QUOTE(FunkyMonkiBaby @ Dec 29 2011, 06:18 PM) Asia Jaya..that is once a happening shopping centre back in 70s. I got my 1st Tiger model kit from FAJAR superstore, Damansara Utama. Knowing those places betrays your age... hehe. Yeah, I used to frequent the toy section of Fajar as well as Kathy and Ding Dong toys as well Also frequent to Jaya's Kathy's Toys...ahh..those were the days. Added on December 29, 2011, 6:21 pmNot bad courtesy free gift from the Publisher. I guess they expect that many would be dissapointed if this tank series was halted. I do hope they restart the series again next year. Well, if they do resume the publication, we'll get our free gift. I'm one of the many, who is disappointed with the stop in these publications. |

QUOTE(Tiger I @ Dec 29 2011, 09:20 PM) Yeah, I hope they really do. I think if you compared this to the F1 Mclaren, this shud be much better since it's always sold out in most shops. Btw, I got two copies of issue 4. I hope I can get two issue 5 if they continue their publication And I hope they restart the series as well as I missed out on the first two issues... |

QUOTE(FunkyMonkiBaby @ Dec 30 2011, 09:47 AM) Ha ha, never too old for toys. Back in those days have to save daily just to buy the model kit. Model kits was plentiful at many dept stores incl Parkson and TRU during the 90s but gone by now. I still visit toy shops from time to time. Now I go to a stall in SS2 Mall to get my fix on some model kits i like. The stall owner also perform model kit building and painting. These tank magazine are awesome. Priced within my budget. Wished the magazine talked more on the respective tank models. Been to SS2 Mall once so not aware of such stall yet. Might drop by if got time. I've moved away from plastic hobby kits since I dun have time(and patience) to build it. Yeah, agreed that these magazines are great. Was thinking of collecting F1 but that comes in so many small parts and I couldn't appreciate that. Yeah, wished they give more info on the current tank issue rather than going around the same Matilda tank. I still find WWII tanks are still more interesting than any other era tanks. Added on December 30, 2011, 10:01 amBtw, does anyone know how to attached the issues to the binder? This post has been edited by aquilaTE: Dec 30 2011, 10:01 AM |
