^ just wait for the incoming issue then, sooner or later surely will have since the mold is used for different issues from other country. I don't see any problem in this. It's just a matter of time, that's all.

so that means we will get the challenger later on, right?
*
if the pattern follow other countries publications, yes.

other might get sherman on their 3rd issue and as for us we got T-55A, most probably sought after by other people in other countries. so don't fret, keep calm and continue collecting.

applicable if one wants accuracy to the model.
the 1st roadwheels should be inside, rather than out.

Don't fret guys, just be patient. Here in Malaysia we are getting Leopard 2A5 and Ferdinand Elefant at issue 5 and 6 respectively but from the link of:
http://www.micksmodelworld.com/DeAgostini/...scollection.htm
and
http://tankforum.model-space.co.uk//yaf_po...--03092011.aspx
they are getting it quite late, at around issue 41 and 42.
Like stated by omerishmael, it is of UK and under the name of CTC, but regardless the diecast tank provided are the same, only difference is the issues for each tank, that's all.
Some variations are because The Combat Tanks Collection has been released under different publishing companies including De Agostini and Altaya. Altaya became part of De Agostini in 1999, so they are one in the same. This also explains some variations for the same diecast tank one to another as well.
http://www.diecast72.com/combattankscollection.asp

These are all in the 1st post in the links provided, do check for comparison and such.
Just as long as the tanks are being brought in to our shore every fortnight, I am satisfied already.

So yeah:
"keep calm and continue collecting" smile.gif

edit:
CTC is an acronym of Combat Tank Collection, right doh.gif
Didn't realize that at the first time, my mistake tongue.gif

i try using the spoiler, btw tiger 1, there is variances in series 1 tiger tank, check how they spell grossdeutchland, one type using 'beta' instead of 'ss'
*
Using this (ß) right?
Thanks for the heads up. I will see to it. But so far I haven't come in contact with such. Do you have the variance with you? This is very interesting indeed biggrin.gif

i don't get it, why some tanks have background picture while others don't have it?
*
Since most, if not all of CTC version for issue 1 is Tiger I, I am assuming Allscript was taking different version before and different version this time around. Anyone can confirm this?

As we can see, plenty of variances for issue 1, as stated in the 1st post. Other issue also got quite varied as well, I'm just stating what we all could find and edit the 1st post so all can see and at least know what they're dealing (like, for example, issue one might have and have not background card, so one might wanna find with the background just as well, etc) smile.gif

Same with me dude, I'm also not really into the Modern Tanks. WW2 is where the glory was smile.gif

But since I subscribed, I do have the modern tanks as well... but luckily more WW2 as compared to modern being released smile.gif

Added on June 4, 2012, 11:17 amFound the DeAgostini Back Issues purchase page. They are up to issue 90+ now and unfortunately they don't list out their tanks issue by issue.

But if you click on the individual magazines the next page tells you what tank it comes with.

Who free to compile? tongue.gif

http://shop.deagostini.co.uk/filter-by/bac...nks-collection/
Some of them are not tanks anymore though, like issue 90 is the "Sd.Kfz. 10".

Here's a question to everyone (please answer honestly)

How many of you here have bought copies, admired the model but have not really read finish the actual magazines?! haha

Roll Call:
1. xylencia (I admit it!! I've only read issue 1 & 2. And I have until issue 6)
*
Guilty as charged
I fancy reading datas, and if that tank is the particular one that I like, only then I proceed reading it's history etc etc tongue.gif

It's taken from different distributor. If I am not mistaken Altaya is with grey base, and they provide background card as well.
