anyone using any roccat mousepad? any good model to recommend?

is the mousepad the reason why when i use my razer mouse on my wooden table top and when i snipe even tho im not moving but my cursor keep moving away from the target?

very old razer copperhead mouse
sensitivity i'd have to check.. if set @ high that's normal if the cursor moves away?
