lol. U asked me my budget and that was the budget I actually set for a new monitor. Furthermore different brands varies in different prices and sizes. I thought I'd put a significant budget just in case a good one actually cost as much. Btw, the 24" ultrasharp looks like a good deal. Anyone of you used it or own it? Maybe you could tell me the pros and cons? One maybe small issue I'm seeing is that it doesn't have HDMI port which I was really hoping to have. I'm sure it makes a difference but how much of a difference?

Thanks. The info I got from a friend was HDMI would stream better then DVI. I suppose it was the wrong info. Looks like the Ultrasharp seems to be everyone's choice of monitor. kekekeke. Looks like I've made my choice then. Thanks guys

On a separate note ah, is MBT server going to stick with B2K maps all out or is it planning to mix it up with the older maps (or more likely newer maps).

That's good news, I'm kinda missing the tight packed maps like grand bazaar or seine crossing. The older maps are great but they're just full of vehicular madness and sniper craze action and they have nothing small unless it's in Rush mode. I guess everyone's training for the coming Comp. Hopefully our Malaysian team will prevail whichever team that is thumbup.gif

Hey guys,

Since the last couple of threads were about monitor... I need your opinion. I currently have one Dell 20 inch monitor. Using HD 6970 graphic card.

I am thinking of

A) Getting one 23" ultra sharp monitor

OR

B) Getting another two 20" monitor so I have 3 monitors.

What are your opinion?

I am leaning towards A as it is much practical since a bigger screen can be use for watching movies, video editing etc.

Anyone has a 3 monitor setup here? Appreciate if you can share your experience or comments.

I use 3 monitors. for me more monitors > one large monitor as I do a lot of programming and I can code and see the output side by side.

(a bit messy tongue.gif)

Anyways what card are you using? Right now only AMD HD Radeon starting from the 5xxx series can do triple monitor output, and you need to buy a display port active adapter to make it work (around RM150).
